5. G.E.T [ Girlfriend eligibility test]
arnav took the sealed envelop in his hands and then look at the watch in his other hand , still fifteen minutes to go . he looked at the impatient looking khushi sitting on the bench alone . she played with her pen ,sometimes kept it on her lips aiming it towards arnav and winking , making arnav turn away from her .
she than through all her pen and pencils on the desk and picked them one by one making sure not to disturb the other pens. arnav looked at her frustrated. he cleared his throat making her look at him in question, her lips still pouted.
"maybe instead of playing , you should revise" he said directing towards the pile of book residing on the desk next to her.
"maybe" she replied sarcastically.
"you are the one who was begging me to make you my girlfriend from past one month. and here now when you have a chance you are not working hard enough" arnav said looking at her sternly . his face making khushi remember her math sir , mr chopra uhh! he always looked at her with those disappointed and you are a failure at math eyes. well it doesn't mattered to her any way she is taking biology in her next class . so bye bye math bye bye mr.chopra ka ganja khopra.
"yes i wanted to be your girlfriend because i think we have a connection. as weird it might be for the world to see me 'khushi kumari gupta - the hot , so sexy and smart girl' be a girlfriend of a nerdy looking average boy, but i didn't gave up on it. '
'i didn't wanted to ignore this connection we had and wait till you get married to someone else and i get married to chris hemsworth . of course i will be super happy with my australian hot husband but what about you. god1 you would be a mess married to a boring girl and regretting that you missed a chance to be with me. "
"you should be happy that 'this' 'this' so hot girl wants you to be her boyfriend. you should probably jumping in joy , kissing my hand in thanks or if you want you can also kiss my lips , i won't mind you know. i am probably the best kisser you ever had"
khushi would have continued her rambling if arnav have not stopped her in middle, his face still expressionless as before.
"ITS time" he said that and gave her a answer sheet and than a question paper while khushi just gaped looking at the number of questions and five math question making fun of her on the paper.
"you have three hours to complete the exam. you cant take bathroom break in mid of the exam. you can drink water if you want from the bottle next to you. answering every question is compulsory . each question carries four marks . and your exam starts now!"
khushi kept on staring at arnav in shock while he didnt even blinked for a second like a robot. she was shocked that arnav has really gone with the idea of taking her exam to know if she is eligible to be his girlfriend.
"time is running out gupta" arnav said with no expression making khushi jump in her sit and concentrate on the paper and reading it like a laser gun.

"what is physics to do with being a girlfriend?"
"i mean i understand asking biology questions , you know what i mean?" she winked at him again chuckling while he still looked at her unaffected.
"every subject is important .and i did gave you all the syllabus and even gave you books from where question would be prepared" arnav answered.
"yes and every book carries around one thousand pages and there is six books there in total. how am to prepare it all in such short time of a week." khushi retorted .
"i told you you can give exams in two or in three months or whenever you are ready but you choosed this week. now instead of fighting , answer the questions, they are not so tough" arnav said looking at her sternly.
khushi turned back to her test sadly as the question on thermodynamics made her heart cry .this is not even in her syllabus in school . how can she answer graduate level questions, she is in tenth standard only.
khushi stretched her legs and neck and looked here and there after one hour . she has answered all questions that she knew or she can guess. rest of the questions are beyond her . she now wished that she had studied or maybe atleast opened the books once but at that time she didn't knew he was serious about this test. she turned her eyes towards the book at her right.
"DONT CHEAT" arnav yelled making khushi jump.
"are you serious . whom would i cheat with , there is no one here except me. looks like there are not many applicant of Arnav's girlfriend eligibility test.." she chuckled at her own joke while arnav just gritted his teeth in anger.
"dont there is a class here today. students might be coming soon" khushi said after a long pause. totally forgetting that they are in school and in a classroom which soon be filled with students interrupting her exam. she dont care about the exam but she is enjoying talking to him or at least knowing he is in her presence . even this simple thing makes her heart jump in joy.she did not want anyone to disturb them. she can stare at him for the rest one and half hours that could be good.
"i have taken permission from the principle for this exam. so dont worry there wont be any disturbance so you better concentrate on your exam." arnav replied.
'or maybe i can concentrate on you' khushi said dreamingly looking at him , her eyes unblinking, her palms cupping her face , a small smile adoring her lips.
ignoring her stares arnav looked outside for the rest of the time.
he snatched the answer sheet from her hands after time was hour .
"comeon , just five more minutes please" khushi requested
"instead of wasting you time , you should have written answers during the time" arnav said angrily.
"i was not wasting my time i was looking at you" khushi said sweetly batting her eyelashes.
"your result will be announced day after tomorrow and sent to your email"
arnav put all the books in his bag including the answer sheet and went out leaving her disheartened in the classroom.
