Write up:
Shivaay is calling up someone on the phone, and its not going through. Anika is in her grey dress with the (SHOCKER!) split sleeves, across from him, in the main hall, trying to call someone as well. Shivaay comes upto her, all frustrated, like she's deliberately jammed his cellphone signal with her ratty sleeves or something. He scolds Anika for being an incompetent phone user, and not being able to get through on HER phone! 😆 Instead of snapping his head off, she is being good TRP Anika and is assuring him that she is trying. He tells her to try harder. The TRP aunties all remember their own TRP uncles, who are exactly this rude and unreasonable everyday, about everything.
Dadi is panicking at all this and demands from Anika to be told whats going on. Shakti is delighted to be included in a scene for the first time in 2017, and he is standing close by. Anika says softly that Tej and Svetlana have gone off to do a mangni. Dadi gives her patented heart attack expression, Shakti speaks to Anika (I think they are speaking one-on-one for the first time since she married his son) and demands "Kya bola! etc etc." IMP. NOTE: Shakti is growing a shadow beard.
Tej saunters in looking like a Bond villain in a white tux and black bow tie. He smirks and confirms to his brother. Baharwali is about to become Babhiwali. When Shivaay asks quite politely what the hell he's doing, "What is wrong with you, Bade Papa..?" (a very relevant question, to be honest), Tej says its his personal business, he does not need to discuss with Shivaay, he is not answerable to him.

Dadi says his patni Janvi is lying half dead inside a room, all because of him, and asks if he has any shame. We audience members all laugh heartily at anyone using the words Tej and shame in the same sentence.
Tej uses a very "reasonable" ( I LOVE this actor! ALL the awards for Mahesh Thakur, for being so deliciously slimy!) voice and explains to heart attack faced Dadi that his relationship with Janvi has been dead for years and he has already planned to divorce her.
