I don't have much to say about the episode 😆 I know all those scenes, bidding farewell to the family, FBs and so on were needed - but now, I have to wait till Monday for Nirmala and Dadu to get the shock of their life 🤣
Anyway, coming to the point of my thread: We got some FBs from Karan's PoV, too, at last (though, I thought he doesn't know that it had been Naina in that cafe 🤣 ). I think I have mentioned it in posts before- Naina's actions like laughing at his chaata and other things, e.g. asking him if he was pagal etc... were either done in jest or during stress but without any harmful intention toward him. Yet, as small as those scenes might have seemed, we might have even enjoyed her befriending his chaata, for example, and as much as Karan hadn't directly shown it - they hit nerves. Probably prodded into years' old wounds which run so deep that he, himself, doesn't know where they begin and where they end.
Deep down, Karan knows that Naina is a good human being with a pure heart. But has he gotten many reasons to fully rely on this sixth sense of his? Naina thanked him once. And helped him one time (or twice if we count the shoes though, Sharda asked her to) but even there, her dialogue at the end revived the bitterness he felt toward her to some extent. Apart from that she has made fun of him and his quirks multiple times, has reacted badly when he avoided being touched by or touch her and generally seemed not to like him much - it's all the first impressions and their initial encounters. Also, her words like, "Mei tumhari lachaari pe nahi hass rahi" and, "Agar aise hi logon se bhagte rahe toh log paas aana chod denge" - unintentionally on her part, have hit him harder than we probably saw. It's understandable, someone who has been ridiculed and gone through psychological trauma for years will be affected by even the smallest of things.
And the last straw now - she agreed to the marriage. Yes, Karan saw what happened in there, and he probably can also see where she is coming from but that doesn't mean that he will want to understand it, per se. What he has seen is that Naina's family didn't actually budge in front of his father (apart from Sharda, and even she didn't want to agree for this marriage). If that girl had said No, no one would have thrown a fuss. He, on the other hand, was not granted the freedom of choice, at all. Furthermore, because of her, Karan had to bow down in front of NK's will - something he most surely despises. He had been helpless in this situation, his helplessness was taken advantage of, and who doesn't hate to feel this helpless? If we look at it from Karan's PoV, he has been made a joke through this wedding; been put up for a wedding like a prize, everyone saw how it all happened and yet... here they were.
As Sandhya said, Karan is very sensitive. She is there, he blames her for his misery, for putting him into such a situation and wants to hurt her - I am hurting because of you, so I will make you hurt, too. Naina will have to work hard to gain his trust, this won't be a cake walk. Patience is the key word 😆
PS: Don't think he really will throw out Naina - she was in the grahpravesh segments, after all 🤣
Also, he sprinkled the sindoor - and didn't touch any feets 😛
