11. heartbreakingly beautiful hug.

I wish i could heal you.
I wish i could comfort you.
I wish i could take your pain away.
I wish i could stop the time.
I wish i could make your agony mine.
I wish i could ..
I wish i could...

sometimes somethings are too beautiful to describe in words... heartbreakingly beautiful.
this is one such hug.

him razing his own self to dust for her.
so that he will be granted few morsels to sustain himself. so that he can rise again. so that he can guard her again.
so that he can protect her again.
for her. just for her.

and his nemesis played dirty again.
and he was left starving again... on the edge of pain's threshold. on the edge of sanity. on the edge of hope. on the edge of life.

and he begged her.

he begged for reprieve.
he begged for release.
he begged for salvation.

but she couldn't. she was just as helpless as him. more than him. for he has only his agony to bear.
she has to bear his and hers own too.
she can withstand her own pain. how is she to stand by his?

I wish i could heal you.
I wish i could comfort you.
I wish i could take your pain away.
I wish i could stop the time.
I wish i could make your agony mine.
I wish i could ..
I wish i could...

and so she hugged him... a fierce, protective, heartbreaking hug.. to hold him to her. to hold him from breaking down. to gather the pieces of his. to be with him. willing, wishing, begging for something anything to make the world alright for him.

and her touch is the only brightest sunshine spot for him in his darkest world. so he hugs her back.. calming down, taking comfort...and finally finding peace. with her.

One of the best feelings in the world..
someone standing by your side.
standing with you.
standing for you.. and telling you.. YOU CAN DO IT!

mountains can be shaken; sky can be breached; earth can be owned if someone shows such faith on someone.

and she gives him that faith.
You can do it Suraj!

and then she hugs him.
there was a time he used to be taken aback whenever she hugged him. used to hesitate a second or two to hug her back.
hugging her still doesn't come naturally to HIM. but now he has reached the stage where he feels it is the most natural thing in the world when SHE hugs him.
no matter how dark the world could be for him at any given time.. SHE will be his brightest spot of sunshine.
no matter how raging the storm would be ... SHE will be the island of calmness for him.
no matter how brutal the world would be... SHE will be the 'peace' for him.

and so he draws his sunshine..
his calm.
his strength.
and his peace... from her.

and hugs her back.

Again a very beautiful thread Nimmi, being able to see all their hugs with your detailed views on them
For me every time Suraj held himself back while Chakor initiated hugs or the fact that Suraj never initiated them was his way of saying sorry for every time in the past when he acted like a pakka pervert around her. It was giving her a place to feel safe, his arms but at the same time never crossing any boundaries which are bound to be there coz of his actions in the past. Even with all these hang ups, their hugs have got to be the most emotional & beautiful coz each one holds some significance which I get to read in this post from you 😃

from a grade A cheapda to someone who touches her with such infinitesimal tenderness being so conscious of her.. what a beautiful beautiful journey.

Oh Lord when I say normal shadishuda behavior I meant I NEED to see some romance, physical intimacy etc along with all the emotional bonding.. no ways would I ever wish for any of my favorite couples to turn into those sharafat ki murats diabetes inducing saccharine sweet jo hukum mere aaka, mujhe kuch nai aata couples 😆
