Just got done watching the episode in fast forward mode. Honestly at this point of time and age, I cannot handle this much of negativity and bullying from a scoundrel and criminal like Dev. However, I was wondering what is the different between this so called 'Male Lead' and Komolika/Mandira/Menka etc ? I distinctly remember there were multiple occasions in at least Kasautii, where Komolika locks people up to trouble them. In fact a recent movie - Dangal has similar situation in the movie where the negative character locks Mahavir Singh in the washroom.
The rest of the symptoms - tapori language, threatening, talking about women's characters, sadist and having fun by troubling others - isn't it too similar to Ekta's kitchen-villains like Komolika etc ? What kind of pervert/retarded transformation of Indian Television Industry is this that the actions which earlier used to be identified as villainous and degradable, are now being glorified by making the Male Leads do that ? 😕 And in the end the heroines will go back to these pigs ? 😕
This might be after 8/9 yrs I am trying a television show since the start to THIS long (around episode 250) and I am amazed to see this transformation in Indian Tele Industry. The actions which were at least condemned by everyone in the show and were never even thought of making 'heroic', are now being put to the 'male leads' ? Disgusting to say the least. Dev is the worst character I have come across in Indian Television, even worse than Saubhagyabati Bhava, at least they identified it as a disease and made the ML pay for that, it was a show to create awareness, unlike this one where everything is being passed on as 'romantic' and 'tashan'.
I am sick of the title track being played 10000 times in the background, and some extra songs, which is a forcing factor to make it look like a 'romantic' show, but NO, please NO. This is a story of a criminal, stalker, bully and a woman. 😕 I cannot interpret the show in ANY other way at this moment. Can CVs just stop the music nonsense and put appropriate serious music in the background ?
P.S. - I hope every girl whoever watches the show can understand that this is a criminal activity and that if this happens in real life (locked up somewhere, intruding personal space in office at night in dark, calling on characters) - please don't fall in love with the man again, please run away as far as possible but not before slapping and kicking his balls hard so that he is unresponsive for at least next few minutes.
