So sorry to hear about you dear. But I am glad you are out of that now. 🤗 To be honest, I haven't experienced anything similar to this, but indeed have feared public confrontation/scene creation, fear of stalking and resorted to restrict myself in one classroom instead of going outside and having fun with friends. It's terrible when one does not want to interact with someone in particular, but that 'someone' keeps trying to get in touch with you for whatever reason. The big question of 'Consent' comes into the picture - an unknown concept to boys. 😕

Adult girls know what they do, they are aware of the consequences of their decisions and actions. It's sad when suddenly someone else tries to play their lives and decide to teach them what they should do and shouldn't do, what is good for them and what's not. Self-righteousness - a natural trait in MCPs 😊. Wish more girls stand against such craps and continue to show the mirror to these guys who try to become this self-proclaimed 'gyaan-baba' of the girl's life. 😃

Since you said @BOLD, one of my biggest wish is for Sona to start ignoring Dev completely. He doesn't even deserve the comebacks. He has no idea of what he has done with her even when they were married together. I respect men who respect their mothers, love their mothers, but pushing anyone to fertility treatment for their mother, or even going along with it for the sake of their mother makes no sense. That is modern day DAHEJ. Dev could never really protect Sona's honor. Every time GKB said something or didn't give her the respect she deserved, had Dev spoken just once in Sona's favor, I would have been happy. That would have been a good practical character. A true male lead. Something Indian audiences deserve in the 21st century.

Well I am glad you guys have the patience to sit through that non-sense. Honestly I cannot bring myself to watch the episodes and prefer reading updates here.

If I were in Sonakshi's place and valued my sanity, I would have not taken that office space. No, I am not scared of people like Dev but I firmly believe that "You only have so much emotional energy each day. Don't fight battles that don't matter. Be selective about your battles. Sometimes peace is better than being right. "

I have stopped watching this show but come to this forum to see these kind of topics... atleast few are still aware that Dev's character is not of hero but a villian...

You are right Tia. And then I want Dev's ending in the same way criminals in CIDs and Crime Patrol do. 😕 Will it be so please ?

And never in my faintest foresight, I can imagine Devakshi 'patching' up. 🥱 This is SO not how a modern girl would let go of everything she had hard-earned for last 7 yrs. How would Sona even justify the continuous misbehaviour of Dev to her Baba ? Will Dev kill Baba and Sona would be back to Dev ? I cannot guess Dev's limits anymore, since his mind of a criminal mind, and I dont have one.

I am really curious to see how this ends. I badly want it to be a normal close-to-reality ending where Dev and Ishwari sulk and rot in hell and Soha-Sona-Asha-Bijoy moves on happily. 😊

😃 IKR ! I would have done the same. I cannot bring myself up to face this crap everyday. And it takes tremendous amount of energy and strength to do that and still not being affected, Sona is one hell of a woman.

Like Push-Pull said in her post, may we know them, may we be them, may we raise them. 👏

Thanks dear. 😆 I know it is indeed what Tia said, a show full of harassment, first in marriage, now in divorce. 😆

Only if CVs get this that this is anything but 'love'. Sadism has no place in love. 🤢

One more appalling thing to me is - Dev's ardent desire to bring Sona into her knees or making her beg to him.

I dont care if Sona's tears move Dev. This is EXACTLY what MCP wants to see. A broken, pity-woman who needs their co-operation to sustain. I am SO SO glad Sona is not acting weak even by 1% to satisfy Dev's male ego. 🤢

I cannot even imagine what kind of creepy thoughts can trigger such demands from a grownass man. There is NOTHING romantic about weepy, weak woman. But sadly this is the reality of the world. So many examples in office around me where girls with 'feminine' nature get into the goodbooks of senior management than the outspoken, loud and strong women 🤢. No wonder Dev is shown as one. 🤢

Hey KI !! Long time haan !

Of course we all remember each other, after all ever since their breakup, this character has gone only downwards so many of us had this common interest to discuss doesn't matter at which time one joins and one leaves 😆 The downfall still continues 😲 Mausam badal gaye, but not Dev Babu. Upar se this gaana - hum rahe na hum😆 Except he is totally himself in fact has become a bigger version of himself post-leap 🥱

Yes, I just hope it doesn't inspire the boys to become like this, and it doesn't confuse the young girls to differentiate between psychotic behaviours and 'love'. 😛 I feel shuddered when CVs try to show this as 'love'. 😲 They indeed don't even know what love is, if this is the interpretation of love they feel in their lives. 😕

Sad state of life. 😆

True fact maybe durjoy is closet MCP ,he trying to project his inner MCP's through his male character .also Just to ensure whatever they are showing is not normal, I have strong urge to post articles like how to recognise your BF is psycho, how to recognise MCP's,how to handle harssessment 😆

Sadism and criminality is considered love and Sona will definitely forget everything and go into the arms of this EVIL soul Dev. Only an EVIL mind can think that success to a girl can only come thru compromise. (Business key liye kya kya kiya hoga- something like that)

If any girl goes back to a man who holds such opinion for her doesn't deserve any respect at least from me.

There are people who consider this behaviour of ML as tashan and love and may be that's the inspiration for CVs.

Nice discussion going on in this thread.
I still watch the show...reason Shaheer and Erica and of course Bijoy Bose!! I love Bijoy Bose's character.

After a long hiatus, I get to see someone like him in Indian Telly...where do we get to see such strong fathers, who are the need of the hour.

Still watching the show as I want to see where Sonakshi Bose goes from here.

Somewhere I do know she will go back to Dev...since they have a daughter together and supposedly he loves her(pun intended)...but I am very curious to see how the CVs will handle it in a practical and different way...that is if they still can 😳 ...after yday night.

If we rest our minds and don't think, we can atleast enjoy the chemistry of the leads..which I believe is by far one of the best couples in TV today...this in the least keeps me going and I make sure I watch the show at 9:30PM IST sharp😆

Lastly, no girl should mistake sadistic pleasure as love. Indian Tellyworld is still in nascent stage when it comes to handling love stories.

i agree dev has become exactly like these real life rogues about whom we keep reading
every day in newspapers. this is noit love i repeat this is nowhere close to love. its just
trying to control women which is what dev is doing right now. nowadays every serial
portray heroes like this??? always blaming their counterparts, intimidating them etc etc
