I declare my love more readily now than ever before.

Why is that? Even when I was a child, I used the words "I love you" sparingly.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

Did I just need to learn that my love would be appreciated? Maybe.

Or maybe I needed to be confident enough in myself to withstand rejection.

It's only in the past few years that I've begun to use the words as often as I should.

I apply them not only to my family but to my friends.

I have always given my love wholeheartedly, but now my words tend to match the content of my heart.

If my heart is full, my lips won't be able to hold back the adoration.

Even if the emotions are muddled or I am feeling a little broken, I still choose to love those dear to me.

I suppose that, once I gained the confidence to express myself, it was much easier to say those three famous words.

Sometimes I feel so much love that I almost cry. Sometimes I do cry.

I might love the way you say my name, or the way you call me "Suraj" in that sweet tone that tells me you love me.

I might love the way you drop everything to be there for me.

I might love the way you smile at me and everyone else. I might love the way you laugh.

I might love the way your mood don't always match with mine, or the way your eye shadow always matches your clothes.

I might love the way you argue with me. I might love the way you concede.

I might love the way that your heart breaks along with mine, or the way you rejoice along with me.

I might love the way you give of yourself. I might love the way you poke me. I might love the way you feed me.

I might love the way you look at me. I might love the way you reassure me.

I might love the way you act so proud of me. I might love the way your brag on me.

I might love the way you let me be myself. I might love the way you stay true to yourself.

I might love the way you smell. I might love the way you invade my personal space.

I might love the way you love me...and I don't mean the Faith Hill song!
