One of best dad I have come across in Bollywood is Farooqh Sheikh in YJHD. I love that scene where he pats the money in his son's pocket.

"Ja Simran Ja. Jee le apni zindagi" made many wannabe Simran's in theatre wish their real dad turned this understanding in the end.

In new age DDLJ aka HSKD, Humpty looked so cozy with his dulhania's father that the man was forced to give the famed advice to his would be damaad instead of his daughter.

There must be several such movie dads that you think are likeable and/cool.

Dilip Saab in Shakti-loves his son but cannot express or doesn't get the opportunity till son(AB) is about to die😒

Salman's dad in MPK-so loving but egoistic..(naam bhool gayee)

Dilip Tahil(Aamir's dad) in QSQT-tough but so loving..

Taare Zameen pe-dad's portrayal was so real..couldn't help crying when he cries in the end watching his son do well..(naam nahi pata)

Farooque sheikh-YJHD

Anupam Kher-Kya Kehna loved his scenes with preity..
