As u guys keep using tradition.
Here u go!
Hindu marriage joins two individuals for life, so that they can pursue dharma (duty), artha (possessions), kama (physical desires), and moksha (ultimate spiritual release) together. It is a union of two individuals as husband and wife, and is recognized by law. In Hinduism, marriage is followed by traditional rituals for consummation. In fact, marriage is not considered complete or valid until consummation

actually one of the most revolting new shows that is completely based around forced marriage talks about the religious and legal invalidation of forced marriages and what is considered a proper marriage. Social norms however may defer and may accept some cutting of the corners due to the "practice" popularly accepted in those regions. This does not mean that ANY religion (notice this is not just about Hindu marriage laws) or law provides support to violation of a human beings free will. People ofcource can bend, manipulate and interpret things as they see fit to provide a means to their end.

No religion supports forced marriage. I knew my religion doesn't and thanks to ravish fans coz of them I gotto know even Hindu religion doesn't supports forced marriage. In fact according to religion their marriage is not even valid as they haven't consummated.

This was a force wedding.
What is the force part of it?
When there is a threat." do it or..." It doesn't matter who the threat is coming from.

If she doesn't sit for the wedding Athruv will be killed...that was the threat from her father.

She seating down physically on her own doesn't validate the argument from many post I am reading in this forum
Other's said, but Uma told and advice her to say the truth before the wedding.

If she had said it, one dial of phone for Kalash would kill Athruv. We all know how much influence kailash has on the village gangs and even police. Vividha doesn't even know the new groom and family. she doesn't know why they agreed to marry a girl they haven't really meet. know they meet at the temple, but that is all she knew about them.

This is a pure definition of a forced marriage. It should be nullified and invalidated.
