RAJ'S HOME
There is a clink as Jassi keeps the coffee cups on the table next to her. She is very close to Armaan now, and she can't take her eyes off him!
She reaches out her hand for the photograph, eyes lowered, saying in a quiet, low voice, "Give it to me, please."
Armaan is amazed at her discovery and cannot believe still if it means what he thinks it means.. that she could really care so much!!… he keeps looking at her, holding out the pic, on the verge of tears, waiting for a sign from him, something…. She impatiently puts her fingers around the pic and pulls… he is holding on just as tightly…
....Then there is a S-N-A-A-A-A-P! The photograph tears into two! Jassi is left holding the upper part of her face and Armaan the lower… a melancholic sound plays in the background and Jassi is devastated!!!!!!!!
She grabs hold of Armaan's hands and despairing, staring into his eyes! "What did you do!!!!"
Armaan asks her to relax.. it's only a photograph....
That makes Jassi even wilder! "This is not a photograph, Angad! This is the last nishaani of Armaan and my love!"
There is a storm in Armaani's heart as he sees his anguished lover turn away and say softly, sadly, "Since the day Armaan joined the office, she took up every possible responsibility upon his shoulders. He would take care of every single thing! He was ready to do anything for his Jassi M'am."
Flashbacks: Armaan at his desk, working… Armaan attending to phone calls…
SHe continues, "Armaan was not a mere assistant to me, but had become an integral part of my life. I didn't even know when it happened…"
Flashback: The bombastic hug on the eve of the fateful board meeting…
"But I never valued him! Never understood what was in his heart! How could I – when I didn't understand my own?"
Armaan was sad, great big tears rolling down his cheeks! he reaches out one hand as if to comfort her and then withdraws it in a second…
"he never wanted anything from me! It was enough for him if I would only turn around and look at him…"
With that, she turns around and looks at Armaan, "Armaan trusted me so much! The day I broke his trust, he was shattered into a million pieces… I don't even know where he went away…"
Seeing the tears coursing down his cheeks, Jassi comes closer to Armaan, standing close, so close… SHe says her cheeks wet with her own tears, "he does not know how much torture I have endured.. and now that I want to apologize for all of that… he is not here!"
SHe says with a pleading face, holding his eyes with all the power of her love, "I called you here today because… I want to meet him once! Just once! Just let me meet Armaan ONCE…! I will never ask you for anything ever again!"
SHe breaks down and starts sobbing like a baby, "Please let me meet him just once!!!!"
Armaan can bear it no more!!!
Without giving himself any time to think, he throws himself into her arms!!!!
This scene has to be seen to be believed… Armaan has his eyes closed and caresses her shoulders, her hair, her arms, with a desperate passion.. Jassi is shocked at first but she allows the heavenly feeling to take over her, feeling as though she is one with ARMAAN… soon, she is matching his love and longing at every step, holding him tightly, crying and attaining heaven at the same instant, … abandoning herself to the moment, needing him to take away the pain with his warmth and understanding… a turbulent release for all her pent-up agony… INCREDIBLE SCENE!!!!
