Which performances did every one liked most? Have you already made any favourite contestants? This year's Indian Idol, I am enjoying too much, so much sometimes I just enjoy without rating contestants. yet, I loved Mohit, Revanth, Khudabaksh, Malvika, Shravan the most.

I always enjoy watching PVR Rohit also, and he is such a sweet fellow. Somehow I found a soft corner for him. This week was tough for him though. Comments which Jeli got and due to which he was eliminated were right I think. I really love his voice, the way he sings. Though his growth did seem to have stuck or stopped somewhere. I am sure though he will rise as he is really good, after some riyaaz, practice, more learning. I still have not understood the reason of double eliminations 🤔

Like always I do, Sonu Nigam's singing especially patriotic songs, aalap in other song made my day. Going off topic, but it really hurts me when someone says he is over, or he had his best before; or some other limited range singer is above him. Sorry again for this off topic comment, just was disturbed.

P.S.: Guys, please make this forum more active. 😭 😳

This week I found the performance of Maalavika-Hardeep pair the best followed by Kudha-Revanth and Shravan- Tajender. In Shravan-Tajender case, both are good singers with different voice qualities. But the voices didn't blend so well and one could notice Tajender went off pitch in one or two instances. Both are shy in nature and thus performing should be challenging for them. M/Rohits' too was a wrong cordination and voices didn't blend so well which literally pushed Rohit to danger zone.
More consistent singers as of now seems to be Shravan, Mohit and Maalavika. Rest have already been in the danger zone.

As the competition is getting tougher, it's hard to say who is best and better than whom. For audience, judging a contestant from his solo singing is easier than judging him from the duets. So hope it will be solo from next week.

Saturday - clearly Revanth was outstanding, no one came close.
However I didn't agree with shravan being safe and Tajinder unsafe, other than that was ok.
Sunday - Rohit's performance was horrible. I understand his problem, but listening to his performance was an ordeal. And he couldn't memorise lyrics. Pronunciation is one thing that will take a while to master, but forgetting lyrics should be marked down drastically.
Mansi and Jeli were far better than Rohit today. He is an amazing singer otherwise but each day must be taken as it comes.

Two human rights moments that stood out for me was when Karan Wahi lent his shoulder to Khudabaksh and said rote nahin hain. The second was Revanth getting up to hug Rohit. I've absolutely loved Karan (since his remix days) and that Revanth is my favourite is obvious on the forums, but today respect for them has grown.

People's opinions differ so do the judges'. Tajender was clearly off pitch yesterday specially in low notes. I was predicting he might be in danger zone and he was. It was like he was concentrating more onto the performance than the singing hence the slip. What went wrong in Mohit- Rohit performance is the partnership. It wasn't a match at all-be it voice quality or pitching.

agreed Tajinder was off pitch yesterday, but comparatively I thought he was better than shravan yesterday. Let's just hope the best person wins

As a neutral viewer, I would say Shravan's singing was clean- rhythm, pitching etc, though his stage performance was not impressive!!

I beg to differ.
But then we're different people so that's normal

Why this format of two singers singing the same song is repeatedly used. It was clearly a disadvantage talented singer like tajinder and rohit because comparison can be made easily, also i think the song ended even before some contestants could blend or conquer the song. Personally I feel this duet format will work for male female songs more thus it was certainly favoured hardeep malavika.

Since some are openly favouring their fav and their gestures, I too would like to share that credit must be given to shravan and tajinder for breaking stereotypes by singing songs out of their comfort zones. I liked mohit confidence and dominance too.

I didn't like the teasing of hardeep malavika but one can surely notice the growing friendship between the two and also shravan who was genuinely happy to see hardeep qualifying to top 8.

Coming to sonu nigam as TM mentioned, he is the one of the best singer India has produced. period. Today there are many budding singers but never can match his charisma voice texture skills and dominance of a song.

Finally I hope drama and sob stories favouring certain contestants should end. If you notice clearly some even started to force their cries...

Agree completely. Felt so bad for Rohit and Tajinder who were forced to be in danger zone, all because of messed up pairing. Andaaz actually is meant to explore your own style and wonder how on earth one can explore it through duets.

Agree on Shravan and Tajinder. They went out of their way, broke the stereotype and still was able to deliver a decent performance. Same goes to Mohit-Rohit duo too, but Rohit was lacking confidence which was very transparent.

I like Jelly's positivity. He is happy with whatever he achieved through this season. And the way, he left the platform with smile and cheers is overwhelmingly impressive. In factt all these sob story actors should learn from him. I feel the melodrama is killing the charisma of the program. It is like they will make up stories even if no one has any sad story to say. Sigh :(

From Saturday's episode I thoroughly enjoyed Malvika - Hardeep and Khudabaksh - Revanth a lot. And, Sunday I don't have anything to say. Though I felt Rohit was atrocious to say the least. He forgot the lyrics so many times. Loved Karan and Revanth giving moral support to Khudabaksh and Rohit.

Sonu Nigam apart from being a great singer he's an awesome judge as well. He doesn't play favourites like some others and he criticises and praises are genuine. And, when even if someone tries to imitate him it becomes very much evident. There are certain songs which only Sonu can sing.
