I was initially against Annika confessing first because i am afraid it would freak shivaay out so much that he starts yammering about the NKK bull**** again. But this thread has got me really excited :D I have a feeling it will be the bangles.

Shivaay comes home from the hospital. We have that Kuch Kuch Hota hai inspired scene with him, Annika and Pinky. This further overwhelms Annika, and her dil bhar aata hai at the way Shivaay handles his Mom without letting go of her. I think Anika should leave OM like Pinky said because somewhere even Annika believes that Shivay won't love her back and I don't want her to face rejection. I love would still like her to confess though. I think the best way would be to send Shivay a video message in which she tells him to close his eyes and imagine. Thanks a dream sequence happens by the poolside whee Annika plans everything romantic and tells Shivay how much she love. So in the dream sequence everything romantic happens and once Annika stops narrating how she wishes she could've told home her real feelings in person and shivay snaps out of the trance and reality kicks in. In the final part of the video I want Annika to describe the reality of the situation like she told Aahil about why she can't fall in love with Shivay and a final goodbye. This i think will get shivay thinking about all that he has said to Annika and the affect his words had on her. It will also bring back all the things that Om said to shivay about love. I also think this way would be a good transition if the makers decide to show a leap because of DBO, where Annika has left the OM and the family is divided. Shivay is also cold towards his mother and is searching everywhere to find Anika. Shivay has taken Anika for granted and thus it is only when they are separated will shivay realize Annika's importance in his life and Annika's love confession as a final goodbye will really wake Shivay up. He who thought everything was a deal is loved immensely by a girl who has no expectations from him and neither wants to tie him down against his will. That should really change his perception about people.
