divorce. The wife had even left her marital
home and had started staying with her
parents when there were rumours of her
husband having an affair with a close friend.
However, her lawyers told that if she is the
one who leaves the house, she will not get a
share in it in case of divorce. Since the flat is
huge and she has invested a lot of money in
it, she promptly moved back with her
husband. Though the couple is back
together and is putting up a facade of being
happy, the fact is they are living like

But if she proves his affair she should be able to get a share... And she invested lot of her money in it... Add to the fact, she is the mother of his children

If this is accurate info, then divorce laws in India are not fair

So both can go out from the country as both r so scared to live in india🤡

I dont know the law in detail, but women are more protected in all kind of marital laws in India. A woman can easily get the whole in-laws family arrested by just making a complaint of harassment.

If the woman is not working and financially dependent on her husband, then he will have to give her alimony. And if there are kids, then he will have to bear the expenses of the kids. Even if he re-marries.
