But actually it's pretty apt. Vividha has forever given her heart to Atharv. Everything's changed for Vivi except one thing. Her love for Atharv. She was SO clear again today. Even if she died, her love for him would not decrease.
How much clearer can a woman be? How many times does she need to reassure everyone about her love for Atharv. There is no doubt so why is she being questioned about it? Just because she asked for time?
We had another beautiful episode today which showed how well ViTharv know each other.
As soon as Vividha saw Atharv cutting grass, she knew something was bothering him because that's what he always does. Atharv had overheard part of Vivi's conversation and it had bothered him. But he didn't want to upset Vivi any further knowing already what a vulnerable state she was in so he lightened the mood by teasing her and avoided her question.
But problems can't be masked, they need to be solved.
I don't know exactly what Atharv was thinking when he announced his engagement with Vividha, but her reaction was not what he expected. So when Vivi ran out of the house after Sujata told her Ravish had sent the divorce papers, Atharv followed her noticing her fingering her neck where her mangal sutra used to be. What he could not see of course was the flashbacks she had of losing him, then being forcibly married and then finding him again.
I'm so glad Atharv took her by the hand and made Vivi talk because they both needed to hear what the other was feeling. As Atharv reassured Vivi of his love for her with his soul, he also questioned her about her feelings.
And Vivi immediately asked him if he doubted her love for him. Her love for Atharv was the same, but she had changed. Every moment, everything that had happened to her in the last three months had affected her. Her father had betrayed her, her sister had died, she had been forced to marry and she had lost Atharv.
And Vivi emphatically told Atharv that even death could not take away her love for him but she needed time. Time to sort herself out. Time to understand her feelings and deal with them and process them. When Atharv died, she died with him and now that he was back, she needed to learn to live again and know that it was okay to laugh again in spite of what she'd lost.
This is why ViTharv are special. Atharv asked Vividha directly about her feelings for him without knowing if they had changed. And if they had changed, he would have dealt with that scenario too and told Vividha it was okay. And Vividha told Atharv exactly how she felt about getting engaged to him so soon after the ending of her previous marriage. It wasn't what she wanted right now. She told him, because she knew she could trust him to understand her feelings.
The best thing about Atharv is that he doesn't dismiss Vividha's feelings or suspicions. When Vividha told him she thought she saw someone, Atharv was concerned for her and told her not to worry, that he was there. Something no one has done in the last three months.
Vividha asked for time and she deserves that. You can't just pretend things didn't happen or that things will magically be okay because life is not like that. Vividha is justified in the way she feels and has the right to ask Atharv to understand and process her feelings before she can totally commit to him because otherwise how would she be fair to him if she just pretended everything was okay.
Vividha has given her heart. Only and forever to Atharv.
