Episode 1 was clear about Jhanvi depression

Jhanvi said truth about her depression.In Episode 1 we see a Jhanvi who gets mad and mental that her husband will return but he doesn't return on their 25th wedding anniversary night and Maya had to handle her .So what Jhanvi is saying now it's true and I don't think anymore further clarification is needed

I agree, when we first saw Jhanvi she was clearly shown as a person with some mental problems. But then, as the show progressed we have also witnessed Maya's suicide attempts as well. Maya's personality too, may or may not be backed up by some mental illness.

I think Jhanvi may have not lied completely, as in, there was truth to her statement, but there probably is more to it. Just my guess, we have to wait and watch to get more answers.

Yes, in the initial episodes, Jhanvi was shown to have mental problems and Maya was pacifying her and taking care of her like a mother. Jhanvi was still hoping that Ashwin will come to her one day but Maya told her he won't. He does not love anyone but himself.

Looking at Maya"s psychic behavior, I had forgotten about Jhanvi. Maya had suffered a lot under Ashwin and she needs love in her life which she saw the possibility in Arjun.

Depression is very common and it can happen with anybody.
