@All,

Firstly a bigggggggg thank you to all who cared to read and respond with some truly relevant comments. Shows a lot of fortitude and sensitivity and I appreciate that. 👏 👏 😊

@Robzi
Thanks for some very heartfelt comments. 😊 Its people like you who make this world a better place 😳 True, religion is part of our moral and social fibre and not fiction...BT seems to be oblivious to this

@Shwetha 😊
Yes, the entire Devi based track and references to rituals is completely uncalled for and badly conceptualised.

@Anisha
Very aptly put and spot on. 👍🏼 How can they call this entertainment?....beats logic. And sadly but truly I have to agree with you that this violation of religious sentiments may not stop in these off the mark serials. Once again, very mature and frank comments 👏 👏

@FanNO1
Thanks for the sensitivity and support. Much appreciated 😊

@*princess15*
No worries yaar...what you wrote was relevant. In a way we viewers are responsible to for watching this and raising the TRPs...so your are right in that sense 😊

@Fari 😊
Haan yaar, Kasturi morphing into God is downright ridiculous. The woman does not seem to have basic qualities ...forget divine ones....ye sab kab bund hoga yaar ...irritate ho raha hai.

@Riya777
True and spot on. 👏 👏 Whenever they show Kasturi smiling evilly under the garb of doing good it makes me so irritated. And I am with you ...I dont know how actors can agree to continously do this under the garb of the fact that they are just enacting a role. I mean each person has their own code of conduct...wonder what these people think. 😕

@Shara 😊
Tumne sahi baat yaad dilayi 😳 ...really what happened to those light hearted comedies...and kitna sahi kahaa 👏 👏 har time har serial mein love triangles, divorce, separation, multiple marriage, kids, phir miscarriages etc etc ...how come they don't tire of these ghisa peeta storylines 😆

@Jima
Well said 👏 👏 ...which God said to destroy one life ...and the more horrible part is we still don't know whether there is a crime or poor Raunak genuinely drowned. And the less said about the things she is doing to his mortal remains the better.

Edited after reading Fatima's post

@Fatima

As usual succintly put😊. Some time back Rohini Hattangadi, an actress in Ghar ki Lakshmi Betiyaan refused to do a regressive ritual that reminds a widow of losing her husband. The actress had the fortitude to not depict an uncalled for and outdated and insensitive ritual. I admire such people. 👏Rohini has done negative roles in many films/ serials. But there is a line between enacting an evil toned role and enacting one that goes against the basic principles and faith that we hold close to heart. I never regularly saw KTH, but am told Rajeev Khandelwal quit it because he refused to enact a mindless rape scene. Today these people may not be the frontrunners in serials,....but I guess they will be at peace for having not agreed to do something they didn't believe in. Alas these actors often get the boot....but I guess the goodwill they garner is more valuable than a few millions in the bank.👏👏..There is no problem with showcasing rituals and customs. But when these are shown incorrectly or regressively or in this case in a down right disrespectful manner...thats when it hurts. 😭Thanks dear for the valid and heartfelt comments👏😳.

@Robzi, Fari, Shara, Fatima and if I have missed someone
A special thanks and warm 🤗to you. 😊
Despite not having much knowledge about the Hindu religion you have the sensitivity to understand and gauge that something off the line is being shown.
People like you make this world a truly nice and better place....Am proud of you 😳 🤗

@JW: Thanks for appreciating everyone's comments.🤗 🤗 Precisely, i had Rajeev Khandelwal in mind when i referred to that. I was not aware that Rohini Hattangadi had the guts to stand up for her principles as well. I truly respect people like because the world is in need of such individuals for it to continue to progress into a socially and morally dynamic environment.👏 👏
It is not enough to be confined to the duties of your job, as we have obligations to the wider world also.

Moreover, we as viewers have a responsibility to react by either boycotting the regressive serials or protesting against the depictions. Only, Ekta simply responds with 'if you do not like it, do not watch it' reasoning as she is so self-assured that the audience will not switch off as her beloved TRPs keep her in the forefront.
