Naina-Karan: If Love was easy, we wouldn't crave it

I am really enjoying this show but not because of the storyline but because of Naina and Karan.

We have seen so many couples that go through the love-hate relationship but this is different. It's not that he hates her. He's overly affected by her.

Karan's been a loner since very young and his skin condition makes him complex. He feels inferiour in front of people while Naina has been quite bubbly and surrounded by people.

I loved the scene where Naina helps remove the flower from Karan's eyes. it potrayed so many emotions and obviously foreshadowed it too, that when in need, she would be the first hand he would extend to.

and about Karan's statement on making fun, I am sure he remembers that Naina made fun of his umberella thing without him knowing and that was just reflected on that.

Karan & Naina are on this weird journey of love where if their love was easy, we wouldn't crave it so much..

I can't wait to see them married because I think it's gonna open so many different things, different emotions. Karan doesn't hate Naina but he's affected by her. He's afraid to extend his hand because he thinks everyone is gonna leave him.

Beautiful post!!

I really think NaiRan relationship is different from the usual love hate because there is so much depth to it! Their scene today for example had so many undercurrents and so much foreshadowing! I agree, Karan doesn't hate her, he lashes out because she disturbs his equilibrium. And Naina can't help being drawn towards him. It's going to be such an interesting ride for sure!

Agreed. There is no hate involved. For a change we won't get the lead\s lobbing I hate you at each other. 😆

This. Yes, he clearly has not forgotten her earlier actions. Not just the laughing at his chaata, probably even the words she said to him when she fell into the pool, the times she called him "ajeeb" etc... Nothing done out of malice, but she subconsciously judged him. And although, I am pretty sure he is slowly seeing what a sincere and good person Naina is, he is scared. Scared of being judged, again. Scared of being rejected. Being left behind once she knows more about him, his issues. Maybe somewhere, he even fears that she still might think him to be weird but is not showing it - though, I believe his heart knows that is not true, lol.

So, yeah, these two have one bumpy road in front of them! 😆 Naina will need a lot of patience with him. Drawback honge, their patience might be tested to its limits, there will be tears and pain and hurt - but also, joy and healing and growing- eventually, on both sides, actually. Because I believe Karan will show her, whether intentionally or not, that Naina is her own person. She is more than her Di's pooch, she can do things on her own, think for herself - be successful for no one else but herself 😊

Karan is afraid but he is also realizing Nana is different...it will take time he will teat her to the extreme, but once he fully trust her he will love her to the extreme and never leave her alone..

This is going to be an interesting relationship - starting with neither stars in their eyes nor hatred. A marriage of convenience which Karan will want to escape from ASAP but which Naina will want to honour. She is already learning how to deal with his phobias. It will take some time for Karan to let go of his umbrella and hold Naina's hand instead. I feel they will have to join hands to put Kunal's and Meghna's marriage back on track.
