Oh my gosh! A person can't even ask an innocent question without somebody feeling like they've been personally attacked!Yes a 5-6 yr old can handle it. I know because I've worked with inidiviuals with disabilities. If anything, using a single crutch for extended period of time can lead to an imbalance in the development of strength, not to mention the extra strain the good leg takes. Two crutches makes sense. I could understand if Anika couldn't afford both previously, but Shivay can get him 2,right?In any case, for the character of Sahil, one crutch s not good for physical development.
