Like some one posted... Vividha was on display!!!

Absolutely disliked how distastefully and insensitively, just for the drama sake the makers executed the nullification of this marriage...esp for the show that was a revolution for all of us for its #NayiSoch! I would have still understood that may be divorce papers were not ready so soon... But they could have shown her directly coming downstairs sans the MS & sindoor, and everybody could have been shocked to see That! Suman would have still asked questions & the dialogues of Ravish would have still been fitting! Why doing this?? Why could not Ravish be the one to only speak & lead the way, asking Vividha to hand over her MS and Vividha be the one taking it off by herself... rather than him stripping it off 😡😡. This all used to be done earlier when one was widowed, and that too privately or by the girl herself!!!!!

It felt as if the sequence was made to feel Vividha shameful and guilty about still loving Atharva and being punished for wanting to break off "sacred" bond of marriage... like how we hear stories of women in villages being punished publicly for doing something 'sinful'. It looked as if Vividha was being left by her husband rather than them leaving each other with consent. & thats not ravish's fault, it is Makers!!

Felt even Atharv was way too silent. But we know, that right now he is still trying to recover himself from the burden of numerous debts towards Ravish, and like Viv said yesterday, "we cant hurt any of them", so it seems he was giving her the choice! Plus, I think he was too shocked to see how things unfolded. But now Atharv has lots to make up for. He needs to show the same support and trust in Vividha & More..like how she has been doing for him. He needs to be her healer, her backbone who can feel her all her pain, confusions, soak it all in and give her the confidence and courage to build herself up again!!

I don't even think I'm angry at Ravish. Like you said, from his POV he did what he thought was the right thing to do to 'release her'. My biggest problem is that the writers don't actually see how they contradicted themselves in the same episode. Samaaj can go to hell but let's show the female lead stand in the middle and be ridicululed. I agree Vividha should've said something, I don't know if it was the shock of it or what and even Atharv for staying quiet. The only reasoning I can give is that they wanted Ravish to take the limelight for this episode and also so the aunties at home enjoy or sympathise (don't know which one) with Vividha's situation.

I just can't get over the bangle breaking crap! Don't tell me modern educated men actually think that's important? It was as if she was being widowed! Such objetctification is only for the woman. That's what makes me sick.

Agree, Vividha will be blamed and be made to feel guilty about that too. Oh look now Ravish is in danger because of you. The onus is always on the woman to fix things and the right to let go, stays with the man. Ravish didn't say anything different to what Atharv & Vividha have always felt, so he was being their spokesperson. It is the overdramatisation which left a sour taste for many.

Honestly if anyone is to be blamed for whatever is happening is none other than Kailash Kashyap. Apart from him each person is trying to rectify the mess that has already been created. You certainly dont have control over matters of your heart. Ravish loves Vividha. Vividha loves Atharv. Atharv loves Vividha.
None are actually to be blamed. Each of them is fighting a battle. With their own conscience and feelings. Though I personally did not like Vividha donning the white saree, mainly cause these irrational over-dramatised segments make me cringe so very hard, but then i understand her helplessness. The point is every individual deserves to be happy, and if something suffocates you, be it a relation or a promise, then you should let go of that.
