The moment she sees the bloodied footprints on the floor she is terrified.
is he safe?
is he alright?
is she too late?

and she screams his name in a heart rendering scream.

The way in which he reacts to listening to her voice; his sheer 'need' to reach her.. as if.. if he could just reach her his world will be alright. the same world which stopped making sense to him and has gone topsy turvy around him.
if only he could reach her... the world will be alright.
HE will be alright.
he must reach her.
he need to reach her.

and he does.

She looks at him from afar.. and keeps looking at him with multitudes of expressions crossing her face.
and then she runs.
and runs towards him.
and hugs him.

he is knocked out of his elements at this gesture of hers. too shocked to hug her back. at last he gently places his palm over her arm.
all the while she holds on to him.

but she is conscious of doing what she is doing... i.e hugging him. hence she holds back a little.
and he is still in shocked state. so he holds back completely.

yet a tender and a beautiful hug.
their first ever hug.

and the last shot on her face.. resting on his chest with a beautiful soothed expression on her face.. as if a terrified child is calming down for she reached her loved one and everything is alright in her world now.
just beautiful!

So our powerpuff girl is terrified of tuccha sa junglee jaanwars? kuch bhi kya?😆. but the scene is just so cute i say why not!

He teases her and she huffs that she is not scared of anything.
and he turns on his devilish bratty mode on.
and lets out a roar... ending up frightening her.

She; the scared girl; immediately looks around in fright and runs towards her comfort zone.. i.e him.
and hugs him.

he is again taken aback at this 'attack' of hers on him.
but she is totally comfortable holding onto him. as if hugging him is the most natural thing in the world for her.
for he is her .. comfort zone.

the moment she hugs him... her world feels alright.

a sweet, playful, cute little hug this one is.

and then her world collapses around her.
she is indicted under false charges of taking drugs and her udaan is halted so cruelly.

when the press hounds her; he steps in to protect her.
she couldn't take it anymore and hence starts running blindly. he runs behind her beseeching her to stop. but she doesn't. she loses her footwear, hurts her feet, bleeds all over the earth but won't stop.
and he sees her bloodied prints on the ground and those expressions...
her hurt, her pain, her torn and bleeding foot shakes him with force of a hurricane.

she collapses on ground; the fight going out of her completely. he drops on his knees and tries to hold her from breaking down.
and she hugs him.
he instinctively hugs her back. she breaks down completely crying her heart on and he holds on to her like her rock of Gibraltar trying to gather her broken pieces and not letting go.
she rests her head on his heart and holds on to him. and he places his chin on her head and holds her to him.

what a beautifully poignant hug that was!

He spikes her drink for her own good - so that the broken girl gets her much needed reprieve from her miseries and embrace a blissful dreamless sleep.
his plan works too well for his own good. she gets sloshed, hops all around the barn, makes him chase her, gets him all worried about her. in short to quote him.. creating complete uddham.

and then she breaks down.
what an utterly heart breaking break down that was.

after all her playfulness she finally faces her inner demons. and as usual turns to her comfort zone. him.
she says she needs someone to share her dil ki baat.
and he.. with those expressions, that voice and the voice modulations says..
hum hai nahi. humse kaho.
seeing her hurt truly hurts him.

she reaches out and hugs him... holding onto him desperately. clutching his arm and his shirt with heart rendering need.
he is hesitant and she holds onto him tightly.. refusing to let go of him. as if .. if she lets him go; her world might disintegrate. he is the only constant in life. and she NEEDS to hold to him.
be with him.
HE is the only one in the whole wide for her at that moment. let go of him.. and she shall be SO lonely.

and he finally very gently hugs her back. just a gentle hug from him side. but a fierce all encompassing one from hers.

and she talks..
and talks...
and talks..

Chakor pours her heart out. her insecurity, her issues, her needs, her wishes, her demons, her hurt..
and he tries to pierce back the broken pieces of the girl with his words and assurances.
but the girl is too hurt, too broken now. and he could see that beneath all the super girl aura.. she too is.. just a girl. one who needs to be loved and prioritized above all... and be loved for who she is.

she hugs him again saying she likes fighting with him because in that way atleast he pays attention to her. she hates silent houses.
he gently hugs her back.

then finally her spirit has enough. she nods off to land of silence. sleep. still holding onto the man.
he gently holds her in his arms.

a heart touching hug.

So he has to leave to Dubai for his own safety as decreed by her.

first they bicker as usual.
then they fight.
then they converse a hauntingly painful conversation.
'tab hum saath toh nahi honge!'.
'hum bure pati haina. haina!'.
'hum un ladkiyon mein se hai jo akele udaan bharenge!'

💔.
the unspoken self-doubts, hurt and melancholy.
the walls and barriers.
the what if and if onlys.

and the hauntingly beautifully painful moment passes on.

then she feels cold and he with a naughty flirty tone reminds her that if only she hadn't donated his jackets to all and sundry he might have given it to her.
and she wears his 'gift' with a big smile telling him that she will keep it as his memory.
the smile on his face....

she teases him - how could he get a jacket a size so big? he thought she is of his size?
and he teases her right back - when he was buying the jacket he was thinking of her 'brain' size. that is quite big.

and they laugh.

she laughs a happy laughter and then suddenly pauses assailed by multitudes of thoughts.

she will miss these fights.
she will miss these laughters.
she will miss.. HIM.
She couldn't help herself. and so ..she reaches out and hugs him. he immediately gets his arms out of the way to accommodate her onto him. but hesitates a second to hug her back. and then he hugs her.
she hugs him with a beautiful smile on her face.
and his expressions were...God! i will miss her.

hugging him comes so naturally to her. as if it the most natural thing in the world for her to do.
he always hesitates a second or two to process the fact that she is hugging him and then he hugs her back. gently and tenderly as if he is holding something very precious and fragile in his arms.
but by the end both makes the hug looks like the most beautiful and natural phenomenon for them in the world..

And then he is betrayed by his own loyal guard and gets caught by his villainous sister. he is dragged back to the village.
She reaches him in shock and horror and pain and he apologizes to her for failing her.
then he is dragged away from her; his hands slipping away from hers and then taken to the haveli and is tied up.

She reaches the haveli and is allowed to stay with him under watchful gaze of villainous guards.

She demands him as to why did he come back?
and he tells her about Shikhu's betrayal. stunned and horrified she blames herself. and wonder how could Shikhu!
and he says: can't blame Shikhu. he himself never really cared for the man. or for anybody else for that matter. Suraj Rajvanshi was always too much into only himself.

Chakor wonders 'how could he be not be angry with Shikhu?'
Suraj says: because he is a changed Suraj. a girl changed him. a girl he trusts implicitly with his life. and she is standing right in front of him.

She asks him: since when he started listening to her words?
and he replies: since she started sacrificing so much for himself.

'thank you Chakor. ek gunde ka har mouke par saath dene keliye.'

she places her finger on his lips and says: tum gunde nahi ho Suraj.

and... hugs him.

whenever she hugged him before be it in drunken state or consciously he used to be taken aback for a moment, hesitate and then used to hug her back.

this time.. he didn't even flinch. his only thought was to hug her back. but ..

he gently places his face on her hair and muses..
'wish this moment would stop right here. is this the fear of death that makes me want to hug her?'

She says.. she won't let him die. and goes off to get him food.

and he is left wondering:
'am i in love with this girl? or maybe this is the fear that i will be separated from her forever. yes! it is the later.'

❤️..
if only he could listen to his own heart.
if only he could understand what kind of power she holds on him.
if only he could understand what he feels for her.
if only he could see what she feels for him.
if only... he could just... feel than think. he would know.

The lights goes off. dim, muted, soft light, the world falling silent... and them. Suraj and Chakor.

he asks for water. she tries to make him drink it but ends up spilling it for her hand trembled. she wipes the droplets off his lips and apologies.

and then bunches his t-shirt in her fist and taps him in despair.
How could he let this happen?

he apologies to her. and asks her to not blame herself.

the angst, the passion, just them... hauntingly beautiful.

she tells him that he won't die.
and he tells her... he doesn't want to die.

then he exclaims... death is such a dhokhebaaz. when he wanted to die; death didn't come. and now when he wants to live and live with someone...
and he pauses with such haunting expressions on his eyes.

he always loved himself and barring few darkest phases in his life - loved his life.

but now there has been a tectonic shift in his 'reason to live'. he wanted to live... WITH her.
not live for himself.
not plain live... but live WITH her.

there was only HIM in his life... and now there is HER too. he is afraid of dying alright but he is more afraid of not being able to see her ever again. not being with her ever again.

He had only one reason to live before. and he loved that reason. HIMSELF.
he has got a new reason to live now. HER.

tectonic shift indeed.

then she places her face over his heart and he gently brushes her hair with his lips. one of the most sweetest things in the world. heart melting gesture.

then she looks up at him.
and he looks at her.

and they keep looking at each other.

just them and nothingness around.

what a hauntingly beautiful, poignant and tender moment.

though that beautiful kiss he brushes on the top of her head can claim +1000 points for him for the sheer beauty and tenderness and love... keeping it fair here.
sorry suraj! but if we Sukor'ian gets insanely lucky and actually be granted 'kiss' moments too by the cvs (yeah right!) i will pen down the kiss compilation too and this one shall take the crown position.

9. Special mention hug:

he is being chained. probably been taken away only to be killed. probably his last day on the earth.
and he just keeps looking at the sleeping girl.
won't call her. or shout. or scream.
he doesn't want to wake her up.
so he just keeps looking at her as the monstrous guards of his father chains him up and his evil sister looks on.
and he just keeps looking at his girl.. sleeping on the floor unaware of the doom impending upon him.

and she wakes up hearing the voice of Ragini and sees him in chains ready to be taken for slaughter.
and she runs towards him and hugs him.
holds onto him with heartbreaking desperation not letting the bad guys take him away from her.
and he hugs her back; holding onto her tightly.
the sheer despair on their faces as if they just want to hold on to each other and never let go.
but fate and the world had other cruel plans for them. she is torn off from him and he is dragged away from her.
to be taken away from her.

one of the rare hugs where Suraj too hugs her back fiercely instead of his gentle hugs.
so had to mention it.

i guess i am being mean here. through out the last three hugs he has been tied up and hence incapable of initiating the hug. so not a fair contest.
But... we are talking about Suraj Rajvanshi here.
the man is so clueless, lost and tip-toeing around his feelings about Chakor i don't think he would have initiated the hug all by himself. unlike Chakor hugging doesn't come naturally to him.
his feelings for her are too raw, too powerful and too limitless for him to comprehend to till this moment.
