Kabaddi game and hug:

he was not willing to fight. yet the moment he learns about her keeping vrat for him.. he enters the arena to give it all.
but fails considering his broken state.
and she steps in to battle on his behalf. and wins. but the bad guys start playing dirty and manhandles her.
and that breaks the barriers of his rage and brings out the beast in him. and he takes on all of bad guys again. and wins.

and she hugs him with victor's pride and happiness.
and he hugs her back.. happy that her vrat for him is successful. he didn't let her down. She won.
a simple gesture of her keeping vrat for him meant SO much for him.

She ends up consuming bhaang meant for him and gets high.
he is aghast seeing her 'high' state and forbids her to go back to haveli lest she causes any damage to their nemesis or worse.. to her ownself.
she being she wants to do exactly that. and he grabs her hand and pulls her towards him.
she slams onto him at the force.
and then cuddles onto him with childlike innocence and haq.
awww❤️

He asks her to go back to her room lest she falls ill. she refuses stating that she doesn't like to stay in that room anymore since he is not there with her to fight.
bilkul mazaa nahi aata.

she happily agrees that she won't anywhere and stay with him.

he makes her sit down next to him and she gently places her head on his shoulder and cuddles him slightly.
a very small gentle side hug.

She in a heartbreaking way lets him know that she has been the only one who used to endanger her life for others. but now she knows there is someone (Him) who can risk his life for her.
who can break his chains and shackles of pain and fear .. for her.
Chakor is no longer alone.

He gently cups her face and announces with a fierce determined voice.
'he is there with her.'
and will always be.

and she with utmost contentment and a blissful smile hugs him, cuddles onto him and finally calms down and sleeps.
he gathers her close to him tenderly and says..
now that you are with me.. i can sleep peacefully too.
how beautiful is that❤️.

Warriors are not the ones who never cry.
Warriors are the ones who puts their armour down and cries their hearts out if the agony gets too much to bear.
and then they wipes those tears, pick up their swords and enter the battle field again.. and see the war to the end.
Suraj is that warrior.

when faced with the toughest decision of his life he rose to the occasion and chose to be selfless. and chose to save Chakor's mother over his from a certain death.
because it was the right thing to do.
because he can't see his girl getting hurt or shattered.
because the boy that he was has grown up into a MAN!

and who says men don't cry. they do. albeit only in a rare supreme heart breaking moments. and when they do... it truly breaks your heart to see them cry.

and when Suraj despite trying to be the strong one, holding on to his decision with unwavering stance.. couldn't stop his tears from finally finding their release.. tears of regret, hurt, self loathing, agony... you can feel your heart breaking for this man.

and then he wipes those tears and gets back to the battle field.

and seeing that warrior of hers.. chakor does something she has never done before.
she pulls him towards her and hugs him.
yes she has hugged him a lot many times before... so why and how this be something she has never done before?
because this probably is the first time she hugs him with fierce possessive streak.
not when she is feeling vulnerable or when he is broken or playful or happy hug.
but hug of a woman to her man!

and the way he hugs her back as if she is the only constant in the whole wide world for him...
priceless❤️.

She is shattered into pieces faced with the gory reality of having lost her mother forever. she is rendered numb.. losing all her senses even that of agony.

and he gathers her broken pieces close to him and holds on.
he hugs her and beseeches her to let go.
to cry.
to hurt.
to cry.
just... cry for godsakes.
the sheer concern in his voice for her; his hurt over her pain; his terror over her dead state.. speaks volumes of how much she means to him.
the man who can't see tears in her eyes begging her to cry or else he may end up losing her to nothingness and he can't take that.

and finally she breaks down.
she hugs him back and weeps her heart out.
and he holds on to her with all his might willing to take her pain away.. breaking along with her yet trying to be strong for her.

poignant and heart touching hug.

and i was meaning to keep it short.😆.
typical me!

yeah our guy finally initiated the hug entirely on his own.
he still has a long long way to catch up with his marathon runner of a wife.
