I am really impressed with the promises that MeghNal made to each other during the pheras - their promises weren't only about love and family. I like the fact how Kunal mentions respect and careers too. He even went a step further and said that he would want her to earn/be more successful and her career choices will be only hers. If my memory serves right, I don't remember any hindi serial in recent times which even focussed on FL's career.

A few eps into the serial, when it first started, I was feeling a bit let down from the cvs side as promos focussed on both wedding and career but initially, the show focussed just on Sharda's groom-hunt. But I guess the cvs are going to interlink Meghna (& maybe later Naina's) career etc with the usual family politics. Would love to watch that.

Though NaiRan is my fav pair (& Meghna my fav FL), the MeghNal pheras and promises were really well done.

Yes, they were. Their BGM is beautiful.

I also have a feeling that with family drama, those vows are going to be tested.

true. Feels like the vows they took now are the real ones. I feel during the wedding, Meghna will already be in revenge mode (maybe?)
