Shivaay went up against Tej today, for Omkara. It was really impressive and awesome to see. He always maintained a semblance of respectful silence around the older man, but he was behaving ridiculously and he had to be stopped.
Like a clash of two alpha males. An older one who may have blunted fangs but a HUGE proud ego, and the younger one who takes the confident lead. Tej missed his chance to lead his family, he was too busy feeding his mid life crisis with Svetlana. And Shivaay had to take reins at home, he protects the house from everything, Tej included.
Nakuul and Mahesh have this stag locking horns kind of chemistry. So interesting to watch. Even though Nakuul is smaller in size , somehow he appears as stern if not more stern and assertive than Tej, even overpowering the older man. Tej perpetually appears bedraggled, sweaty and unkempt. While Shivaay is slick and sharp. (He reminded me of Harvey Spector of Suits today 👏❤️)
Shivaay and Omkara were a treat to watch too. Shivaay seemed to know what happened with Omkara, had even left strict orders to answer his phone calls no matter what. I'm hoping these two caught up with the mounting conspiracy and are planning counter measures.
How easily he asked Om just to meet this family, and he can refuse if he does not want. See Tej, that's how you parent, you ask nicely and you give them a choice. Shivaay is much younger and he can do it better than you. You should know by now, shouting at Om never helps.
Because Shivaay seems to be a little too calm and composed with the increasing pandemonium Svetlana and Tia are heaping on them. Shivaay has suddenly ceased to see Tia as a favored partner anymore, he doesn't try at all with her anymore. SHe has lost her grip on him, hahah...
Svetlana accused Om of rape, Tej freaks, slaps his own son. And yet , the family plans Lohri, and the Chadda's visit...Hmmm... How will Shivaay deflect this attack, I wonder.
I keep remembering that scene, where the three brothers did their "Go Go Power Rangers " pose, with Omkara in the middle, with Shivaay having face-off with Svetlana. His game on face.

I think ShivKara are up to something. I really hope so. I hate to see ObBros weak and taken advantage of, especially by manicured witches. Boo.

Annika and Shivaay reached a higher level of connection today. He stood by her, even when his mother turned on her melodrama. That implicit trust in her, although a little worrying in its intensity, is a HUGE thing for Shivaay to do.
He may find it difficult to say the words, that he loves her. It'd probably scare him a lot. But the trust in her, the announcement that she can never do anything wrong, his fear of her being hurt and in danger, are all hallmarks of his emotional attachment to her. Also known as Love.
He speaks urgently to his PI, telling him to hurry up his investigations, as the schemes are escalating around them, especially to Annika. Who is this Annika, sir? A flash of irritation, how dare you ask?
"This is confidential. Annika is my wife. And she is very important to me..."
There it is. He has accepted in his heart. His own selfish desire. But remember, Shivaay never does things for himself. Always for his family. And now for Annika too.
Yet, when he turns to find her, he retracts it. He calls her his responsibility, his zimmedari.
I may be imagining this. But they way he said Zimmedari... in that tone, sounded like it was a new word for something else altogether. Gosh Nakuul is unlocking all sorts of new facets to Shivaay.
A wife is, of course the most precious Zimmedari of a loving husband , is it not?
