How does Arijit Singh stack up against Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu

Arijit Singh is dominating the same way those two did in their time, Sanu in 90s and Udit in late 90s to mid 00s, compared to them how do you think he is?? better or worse?? Please discuss

In my opinion he is very good no doubt but there was something about the old songs that made them magical so I would say Sanu and Narayan saab are better. However Arijit is still a phenomenal singer in his own right

Also Sonu Nigam, right? But can anyone tell me why he doesn't sing anymore?

Imo, he is no where close to Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu and Sonu Nigam...
He is super monotonous and sounds constipated ...and sings like Atif Aslam, the draggy kinda style...
I really don't get the hype behind Channa Mereya also, I like the tune and the lyrics but I think Sonu would've done a much better job with that song.

There is an era for everybody and this is Arijit's. For me he is the best presently. His songs are all addictive and I instantly fall in love with them.

He has a very good voice, he must use it and learn to enjoy and play with his voice. 🤓

Music may be perceived differently, is subjective, so these are just my opinions.

PS --- For me it's not the question of overexposure, no, there was a time when Alka/Udit sung every other song, they were never boring. No, a beautiful song sung well, will always sound pleasurable... we may get bored with song but never fail to appreciate it for what it is.

So in conclusion...

kumar sanu and udit narayan had their serious limitations too as a singer ...but their voice had the magic to touch the heart ...their voices had the ability to match the actors face,,,,,,,udit had such a sweet voice...but i guess Sonu Nigam is the greatest film music ever produced ...such a sweet voice yet a great command on all the genre of music and his era of late 90's till the whole 2000 had such an amazing song would love to most this my most fav song again
