Sonu Nigam is quite underrated with this new generation .. he can sing all those modren songs easily which others have rendered in a very monotonous way and can give life to those composition ...Hoping to see him soon ruling once again with his soulful melodious voice
infact his these songs of i think 2001 still sound more modern than any other modern song beautifully imbibe the westren style in it

Female singers from the 90s who didn't have sweet voices didn't get many opportunities. Both Hema Sardesai and Poornima had melodious voices but didn't get to sing much.

The first one that comes to my mind is ALISHA CHENOY.
The lady is one of the best singers ever IMO.

...and.. Shaan!!!!

KK is also underrated... even Javed Ali..

That's all I can recall.

Even the singer for "Aaja na chule meri chunri sanam" song.. she was unique, I love her 😛

Poornima sang many of those fast beat dance songs in the 90s..and worked mainly with Anand-Milind, I think.
