Om-Ridz

As I started watching IB recenlty(My friend suggested it to me..And I watched every epi from the starting) and I rejoined IF yesterday I have missed the discussion u guys had from the starting of te show..

So my question is ,What did u guys think of Om-riddhima pairing?..I always thought that riddhima was a nice girl..I know the fact that she was faking her social work and activism..But She always stood by Om..So What are ur thoughts about Riddhima?

They also had that takkar ka thing as Om was commitment phobic while Riddhima wanted commitment, Om was sach ka bf while Riddhima had no issues lying if it meant getting what she requires

But there was a simple problem that their love story was done n there was nothing else that could have been done in it, I think that is the reason that they couldn't be the final couple

Om was not confused about his feelings but was not ready for commitment, you don't wake up to the call of a friend when you didn't wake up to the call of the brother you loved the most

And I am not even discussing chemistry, I am speaking of the mature love where you don't love for chemistry, you love because it's a part of your existence

I know most of you are in your early twenties or even younger so have a different definition of love which is about chemistry but as you grow holder love becomes more evident in actions that in chemistry n that was the stage of Ridkara relation

In my opinion Rhidima and Omkara just did not have that "Spark". They had a comfortable relationship, they loved each other too. But Om never felt that grip you feel towards someone whom you love with that special "Junoon". I always feel there is no love without Junoon. Love is a passion. It starts off as a blaze and eventually becomes a slow burning fire. But in RidhKara's case, there love was more an "understanding" a Friendship. Om got together with Ridhima at a time he needed someone to rely on. She was almost his crutch.

Shivaay thought he took drugs again because of his break up and that is why he supported the idea of Ridhima living with them. But the fact was the drugs had nothing to do with her. Just like the first time the drugs had nothing to do with Tej. It was always his guilt that made Omkara take drugs. Not his angst, but no one knew the truth, so they assumed things.

Ridhima and Omkara did not have that "cant let you go" feeling between them, and if they DID, no matter what had happened with his Dad, he would not have been able to let her go. I feel this is why they didnt work. Though on principle I dont like Dadi's Takkar ki Isqhbaazi rants, the relationships that last, are those between two people who meet in the middle and can give each other that "push and pull" needed in a relationship. I am speaking this from experience. Only a relationship of equals EVER stands the test of time. If there is something un-equal about the realationship, it MAY last because people have different reasons for staying in a relationship, but it will never be a relationship that will make you happy. What I want to see for Om is a woman he CANT give up, even if he thinks she is not good for him, or share his ideals. That woman was Ishana! I am just sorry it didnt work out. Hope to see somethig similar with his new FL where they do not necessarily share the same "World view" but he just cant let her go! It will be worth a watch. Whatever scenes Om had with Ishana, espeically the last scene was electrifiying. I cant beleive Gul let go of that superb chemistry! There was some real passion there. She could have done magic with it!
