Lies
hidden in smiles
concealed in sweet lullabies
A thick morning mist
cloaks his way
Hidden from him
is the light of day.
Deceit
A brimful now
hides answers to when and how
A torrent of rain savagely beats down,
and fills deep rivers
for truth to drown.
Trickery
is everywhere
in the breeze
in the air.
Hidden in the ocean deep
Secrets, she will no longer keep.
Of Treachery
and of her pretence
is made a fabric
thick and dense.
Out on the street
as the white mist clears
lies the shredded fabric
of his deepest fears.
Under the clouds of a dull grey hue
is a sky painted in brilliant blue
Happily she walks, with him by her side
up a mountain where truth resides.
Together they hold it,
brimful now
with answers to when and how.
