Life does give us second chances that is why it is called a new tomorrow.

Here is what I observed from todays' episode and the general build up of the story after this leap.

Disclaimer: This is my first soap ( Indian) and may have all this wrong but from my POV if the story is headed this way it will be a beautiful one because the path of True Love is never smooth

Dev and Sona love each other deeply that was established already. But their love alone was not enough to sustain their marriage .

Just believing in a happily ever after or Love conquers all is not enough we have to every single day make a conscious effort to make it happen.

Dev had a picture in his mind about his mother and his family and that picture was torn and the facade dropped due to the break up

Sona had a picture in her mind how her happily ever after would be and that got torn also

So they stand now in a crossroad after 7 years ..not sure why 7 years maybe there is some significance to it that I cannot fathom

In order to start anew we have to first come to terms with our past. This will be the journey for them to come to terms with their hurtful past..it had its beautiful moments but for the most part it was a struggle.

Dev in todays episode interacted with everybody but with no great emotional connection. He knew what mami wanted to hear, he visited Easwari but chose to not answer any of her questions and the last few days have been sort of tying up all the loose ends whether with BIZ family etc. Why do we tie loose ends up? Maybe to start afresh? ..but this time under his own terms ..that is why I think he did not talk much about Sona to anyone except to Elena. Dev seems to have finally woke up and who was his guiding star for him to wake up none other then his God Mother Easwari she woke him up from his naive self and brought him to reality. The reality that his happiness does not depend on her being happy but him being happy..so maybe he starts this journey fresh with Dr Sona Bose in his own terms and giving her all the respect she deserves this time around...

I dont know why the snatching of award and all that stuff but maybe to get a reaction from her..and this being a show maybe creative liberties

Sona in order to have new beginnings need to wipe her slate clean, face her demons and coming to Delhi and facing Dev is her way to get past the hurt. She has however a child who is a constant reminder of Dev . And Bijoy the protective parent that he is getting her to promise she will not do anything silly repeat the same mistake again..There is no harm in parents wanting to protect the children but we need to let the children fall and make their own mistakes otherwise no child will walk let alone run.

Suhana the baby born out of their Love , reminding them that their love was beautiful everyday. I am sure just like she is reminding Sona about Dev there will be instances on this show that she will remind Dev about Sona

I do not know whether this where the story is headed .

If we were always fighting the old we can never start anew..hope Dev and Sona can start Anew whether together or separate but this time just them making the decision because ultimately it is just their life to life

A new start and a fresh perspective - that's the road Sonakshi took. Why? Because as I said, we can do two things when life throws us curve balls - sit down and cry and try to think who was to blame and how much or get up, dust off and learn from the past mistakes and use them to kickstart life again.

Both Dev and Sonakshi started their life once again on their own terms.

While Sonakshi admitted her mistakes and learned from it.

Dev passed the blame on his mother (she deserved it) and Sonakshi (she didn't).

In short, he learned absolutely nothing.

Someone said that Dev blames Sonakshi for not trusting him and trusting Vicky. If Dev thinks that, that's another proof how delusional he is.

1. Can he go to any extent for his mother? Yes. He claimed and proved it many times.

2. Can he hurt people where it hurts more? Yes, he took away Ranveer's job who was responsible for his whole family.

3. Did he ever lie? The question is how often he spoke the truth. That is a shorter calculation.

So it was not Vicky's word against his, it was his past actions and words against his. Even Ishwari, his mother, who herself is a lier didn't believe him. That's how low his credibility was.

For someone to trust you, you will have to be trustworthy first. And our action makes us trustworthy.

So for Sona, she needs to focus on her family, her daughter and her own happiness.

And Dev, has to understand his own faults and for once, take responsibility for his actions.

As I mentioned before, to deserve true love, you have to be worthy of it or you will lose it, just like Dev.

P.S I am no means supporting Dev of the past just giving Dev of the future a chance

Yes This is what I am hoping the will show..BOTH being the operative word here

I do think Dev has opened his eyes to his mother ..and I am not sure whether he blames Sona ..maybe I missed something.. But hear me out here.. Dev certainly has opened up to his mother and his family. She is off the pedestal. He did put Sona on a pedestal too in the marriage...he kept telling her that she needed to stick with him no matter what..and believed she would and for the most part she did..but she is not infallible the slap to her Dad and the money plus the Pre Nup was the last straw..but some people like Dev have to learn the hard way..he learnt the hard way about his mother because of the Pre Nup he will learn the hard way about Sona when he knows he missed his child's growing years..that will be the wake up call especially since Sona atleast what is portrayed so far has been open to Soha having a relationship with him... I have been very vehement of Dev and his actions and have expressed them but I believe people do change for the good..have seen it happen too many times in real life ..they change for the better when someone believes in them when nobody does..maybe that will be the pure love the child has for the father. I am no means saying his past actions were not horrible but change does happen

Going by the past his credibility is zero..but credibility can be won again by right actions..maybe I am eternal optimist

Absolutely.and our past actions always makes us distrust..but always have to give opportunity for change to happen as life is not just black and white

Yes I agree but if Sona's happiness after all this is with Dev than who are we to say she shouldnt choose it,..it is her life after all..that is where I feel Bijoy though well intended should not dictate it
