even we also wash our clothes daily, that does not mean we can play the role of a Dhoban perfectly. that can't be a reason actually.

There was earlier the news that besides Deepika another actress auditioned for the part. But i think Deepika got the part because the guy who is co-producing it mentioned that its deepika.
