If you're sick and tired of the same old "young lovers frolicking in exotic locations" and "dancing to yesteryear chartbusters" being put out as trailers for films - the teaser of Secret Superstar comes as a refreshing change.

Co-produced by Aamir Khan Productions, the teaser also features Aamir as an over the top desi rockstar. Secret Superstar revolves around a young girl who wants to follow her dream of being a singer, despite her father being dead against it. The burkha clad unnamed 14-year-old girl making her dreams come true via YouTube may strike a chord with the younger generation.

While launching the teaser on Friday, Aamir said that he was just the tadka in the dal which is the film.

The composer is currently working on the soundtrack of Aamir Khan's upcoming production, Secret Superstar, and is floored by the star's dedication. "Aamir is an institution. There is nobody like him in the entire industry. Bollywood ek taraf, aur woh ek taraf. He dives deep into every department of filmmaking. His feedback was extremely helpful," says Amit.

You're having secret superstar next, the promo has already come out. In a way you're being called hero of the film as well. Excited about it?
I am very happy that mujhe ek hi saath Aamir sir ke saath do do movies mili hai. It's more about ke it's based on women empowerment which makes it even more special.
