I always thought to myself while watching JNDSD phase 2, what were makers thinking while showing all this nonsense stuff and illogical tracks. But from last couple of days, I figured it out. While JNDSD phase 1 was classic and focused on so many social issues. But, they never focused on an issue of a married women having a CHOICE. Which Phase 2 focused on. Vividha despite being "married" in a nice family. They never gave her a choice to have her own freedom. What i meant to say is, when a women gets married society thinks that from now on women has no life of her own, and her life should just revolve around her husband and in-laws, whether she is happy or not. To show progressiveness in society, makers first have to show regressive mind of our society, which I think makers have become successful. Just look on twitter, Facebook and IF where people think that Vividha should not think about her own life and only think about Ravish and his family. When she wants to live her life on her terms, she is shameless, selfish, nutcracker, who deserves to be ill-treated, slapped, die because she "ruined" Ravish life. Now with phase 3 they will show the progressive changes in our society, where via Atharva-Vividha they will show that married women have a CHOICE of her own, and has every right to be free from a marriage if she is not happy in it.

I agree with you! I think they also wanted to show vividhas empowerment as in phase 1 she needed empowerment which she recieved from Atharv in phase 2 she was shown empowered for her love for atharv, guddi, terrorist attack and now to stand infront of the world and declare herself as atharvs widow. Phase 3 will probably lead to show how 'Vividha atharv ka pyaar kya hoga society ko sweekar' this is what the promos of the show said at 1st. And I think the cvs are going to focus on that in phase 3.

Apparently marriage means an end to freedom for women! Women are not allowed to explore their own feelings, because once married she must wash her husband's feet and drink the water (as disgusting as this may sound, there are traditions like these...). I believe if one was to take away their obsessive glasses, they'll notice that we have 3 victims in this game, and none of them had picked that path however, it was thrown on them and now they have to face it and come out stronger. Vividha and Atharv love each other, their love turned out to be a destruction tool for Vividha's father. He used it to ruin VITHARV and when destiny had them meet again, it was two very different people meeting but their love for one another was still present. Circumstances may have changed but their love never did and never will. So why should Ravish be with Vividha? Why is he so obsessed with her? He knew of her feelings and yet he wants her to be with him, why? Is it because she is a woman and therefore she ought to sacrifice herself for him? What about her happiness?

This is what the makers will focus on now! We will see the great contrast between the two brothers. One believes in the truth regardless of how painful it is, the other believes in lies to keep loved one happy! We will see their different ideologies and also see how VITHARV reunite with R ending his obsession. We will see how despite being FORCED INTO A MARRIAGE, all is not lost as you don't have to force yourself in accepting the situation. You can change your destiny.
