Hi folks,
No. 1 reason for me why divorce and leap is a good thing is ..
After a month of not watching this show have started watching KRPKAB since the last two episodes.
The show had become barely watchable sometimes and extremely depressing at others.
I had in fact switched to Ishqbaaz and felt it to be better than KRPKAB because of the somewhat less depressing story and a watchable lead couple. Needless to say the show lacked the soul-reaching experience I've had with KRPKAB in the pre-breakup phase.
I guess I just love Devakshi too much, they felt simply perfect when they were together. Who wouldn't love these two?
However as individuals they were both imperfect, and somehow after their first breakup the show did nothing to show anything by way of character growth. Sonakshi was settling into a perfect bahu role and Dev had become the typical husband torn between mom and wife, Ishu the typical insecure MIL.
But now after this divorce, my heart went out to the trio. The three of them acted so beautifully, all doing what they do best. Dev with his emotional scenes, Sona with her arguing scenes and that stone-hearted look when she says she will repay all debts, Ishu giving that pitiable look when she blames the DIL for spoiling her son's life.
To me now KRPKAB is back with a bang! I now see a light at the end of the tunnel.
Because if Vicky and Mamiji do what they say they plan to do, Ishwari will finally understand the folly of dancing to GKB's tunes and not accepting her DIL. Dev will finally understand Sona's value and Sona will finally realise her own true value.
The divorce may actually reset these three. And hopefully in the end the trio will eject GKB and her son from their lives for good. If this is the case, cant wait to see Dev and Sona pining away for each other and Ishu realising what an idiot she is.
I hope that after the divorce and the leap, Sona wil be the high flier, Dev will become the loser. It would be a nice change to see him humbled. I always wondered if he would get away with everything he does if he wasn't wealthy and powerful. I would be interested to see what happens when he is at the mercy of Vicky. And for Ishu and Dev to remember the time when Sona had warned them about Vicky's recruitment.
I felt for Sona when she asked Dev- so you think i cant repay this 4.5 c loan? Why do males think that women cant make big bucks? Dev gave some reasoning about market value, interest rates etc.- which let me tell you is valid. But even if Sona got a bad deal on her loan, there is no reason that she can't repay it. There is NO reason to call her stupid or dumb.
So if Dev knows all about markets, he is clever?? BIG SHIT!! You hired your bloody conman cousin who is going to takeover your business, your money, your house and what not very soon you piece of SHIT!! All because of your insecure mother who wanted to show off to her bhabi that you damn well are her puppet by agreeing to make Vicky a VIP in your company. SO CLEVER 👏
Anyhow thanks CVs from bringing back my show!! 👏 I will now watch on TV.
