Mansi was clearly disturbed seeing Akshara's photo, but I don't think she was responsibile for the accident, maybe she was in the car which hit Akshara, in the passenger or back seat but not driving it or it could be that she happened to see the accident. I don't think they will show Goenkas having a hand in Akshara's death. But yes in a way Chachu made Karthik suffer despite having the chance to let him not go to jail.

I agree with the comment above how can Chachu let Kartik suffer so much despite knowing what his own daughter may know? I hope we find out soon I am really eager to know!

Akhilesh and his wife (Karthik's uncle and aunt) are the source of all the misunderstandings in the family. He pretends to be a loyal family member but he is not. He benefits from Karthik having misunderstandings with his parents and has purposely created distance between the two. As long as there are problems and misunderstandings this couple will remain happy. The day Karthik patches up with his parents and the uncle and aunt's truth is revealed they will be history. What is the source of problems and misunderstandings in most families - money! He is protecting his daughter and didn't care if Karthik was blamed for the accident. He is not worried about Manish and Karthik. I don't think they like Naira either as after marriage she will come to realize the truth and try to patch things up within the family. They would love it if Karthik/Naira live separately from the family.

Karthik wants to be a selfmade person and not take help from his father for his career so he wouldn't ever ask his father for money. That is good for this uncle and aunt who are probably after this money that would be Karthik's inheritance one day. This uncle would like nothing more than to see Manish's Goenke's reputation destroyed and having Karthik hate him even more. This uncle and aunt knew media would be present at the engagement and created this mess with the engagement rings intentionally. This is what I expect is going to happen in the future based on what has been shown so far.

Blue.. i don't agree because irs shown.that surekha knew that diamond was not bought ..but she managed to get another blue diamond..come on that was not intentional.. someone had already bought it and she couldn't let her maternal home be blamed in front of dadi.

Surekha knew she was having problems getting the ring but didn't let Dadi or Manish know about it. When Manish asked to see the ring she got nervous knowing that she didn't have the right ring. She should have been upfront vs everyone getting surprised at the engagement ceremony.

I think time will reveal the true colors of this couple. There are problems and misunderstandings and in time we will get to find out how this took place.
