Guys! I'm back. I haven't watched a crap ton of tv shows for real, but I can very confidently say, this ain't no new storyline. Now that the leap is confirmed, gives me some real Ekta Kapoor feels. 7 years leap was also present in YHM right? Not that I have watched the show but it was a big buzz and hype in all this tellychakkar and stuff. But storyline wise, introducing a daughter to reunite her estranged parents... gosh that is so away from the main story line.
I did follow Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar, very heartily because I liked the concept. I mean frankly EK obviously ruined it all by ripping apart characters and the show went down the drain. I'll leave that aside but wasn't that the concept? A divorced couple come face to face after years and fall in love again because of their children that kept them linked forever.
And Bade Acche Lagte Hain? I haven't even watched it but like I've heard of it and our CVs seem highly inspired. To say the least, nothing makes sense anymore.
And what about this equation of the dynamics between a mother, her son and his love interest?
I have seen Navya, so I know Shaheer since then, but I didn't really follow him. But then I was a huge fan of mahabharat, had watched the old one and when Star Plus came out with the new one, I obviously was obsessed and loved his portrayal of Arjun. So when the promos of KRPKAB came out, I saw Shaheer and I decided to watch it.
I guess the only thing that has amassed such a large following are the leads, and the initial promos. The very first ones... specially the pen promo. However, if anything at all has happened, following the very first break up, the show has run downhill. None of the characters are in place.
I don't know what to do guys I'm so stressed cause of this lol. I'm in my Summer hols here in Sydney, Aus. My school reopens soon but like for real can this show please give some serious context and closure. Its all over the place!
