Well sharda just wanted a household were both her daughters could pursue their dreams even after getting married. She wanted her girls to be independant. She has heard sujaan singh and her words for girls getting educated and felt that this must be the right choice for her daughter's sasural were she gains respect for her choices. Moreover, she believed in her daughter's capabilities that they can prove a better bahu to the chauhans. So she chose the chauhans. The story right now focuses on her quest to get everything in a proper way and get her daughter married without any hurdles.
