Ishita arranged the food beautifully on the dining table and was waiting for him,praying her murugan not to make him angry seeing the food.while all the helps were sneaking from the window to see his reaction after seeing the food.mihir was also waiting to see Raman's reaction as he knows well that Raman won't eat anything out of that but still hoping to see a positive change in raman.
After a long wait ,raman came back home.he saw ishita standing near the dining table.
Seeing Raman she said- good afternoon sir.
Raman-good afternoon miss iyer.how r u feeling now.
Ishita-I am fine sir,how r u doing.
Raman-i am also good.
Ishita-aap fresh ho jaiye sir,main khana lagaati hoon.
Raman-u made the food.
Ishita-yes sir,i made food for u ,hope aapko achcha lage.
Raman-ofcourse achcha hoga.main fresh up hoke aata hoon.
Ishita nodded and sent a silent prayer to her murugan for the nth time to save her from his wrath.
Ishita-(st) waise woh itne achche hai mujhe daantenge toh nahi but daanta toh.omg naukari se nikaal diya toh.agar aisa kiya toh main toh unke pairon mein gir jaungi toh seek his forgiveness but jaane waali nahi.amd why u will fall on his feet,ishu be strong,tujhe unhe pata hoga aur unka favourite khana khilana hoga,tab hi toh tu unhe unke dukh se baahar laane mein successful hogi.she was thinking in herself when she heard- tum serve karogi yaa main kar loon.
That broke her trance and saw him looking at her with innocent eyes.
Ishita-(st)uff mar Jawan,yeh kitne cute hai.khana kya serve karun mera toh mann kar raha hai inko hi kha jaaun.she was thinking when Raman said-miss iyer,can u hear me.
Ishita look at him and said-I am serving sir,saying so she open the lid of palak paneer,mihir and all help were looking at them stopping their breath for Raman's reaction.ishita served palak paneer,boondi raiyta,matar pulav and nun.
Ishita-khaiye sir aur bataiye kaisa bana hai.
Raman was about to eat when he saw his plate.he look at ishita ,ishita's face turned white due to fear and she was expecting his scolding when he said in his ever sweet voice- may be noone told u but main yeh nahi khaata.
Ishita look at him trying to observe his words when he told again-I only eat boiled food.tum jaa kar wahin le aao.
Ishita-but sir Maine toh sirf yahin banaya hai.kha lijiye naa sir,ek din kha lene se aap mote nahi honge.
Raman-it's not about fitness miss iyer.main nahi khaata ,kisi ne bataya nahi.he asked very calmly.
Ishita-I didn't asked anyone.maine itni mehnat se banaya hai,thoda sa kha lijiye.
Raman-u r not getting,main nahi khaata matlab nahi khaata.dont u get such a small thing.
Ishita-please sir,maine itni mehnat se banaya hai,aap thoda sa taste kar lijiye,ganda hoga toh mat khaiyega.atleast taste toh kar lijiye.
Raman-why r u not getting.main nahi kha sakta.
Ishita-Maine achcha banaya hai,aap taste kar lo please.she said making a sad face.
Raman-u r not getting,go and call others.
Ishita-nobody is there,sirf main hoon.aapko jo chahiye mujhse hi maangna padega.she said with a sad pout.
Raman-dekho miss iyer,
Ishita-mera naam ishita hai.
Raman-dekho ishita,main nahi khaata yeh sab.
Ishita-but Maine toh banaya hai itni mehnat se,kuch khaya bhi nahi.teen din se bhookhi hoon phir bhi Maine itni mehnat se sab kuch banaya but aapko toh mere efforts ki kadar hi nahi.
Raman-tumne kuch kyun nahi khaya,i told u naa to eat.
Ishita-how can I eat without feeding u.
Raman-kyun.
Ishita-aap mere maalik ho naa.aapko khana khilaye bina main kaise kha sakti hoon.isliye maine yeh sab banaya,aapki pasand toh pata nahi thi mujhe toh Maine apni pasand ka bana liya.but ab aap nahi kha rahe toh main bhi nahi kha paungi.
Raman-tum kyun nahi kha sakti.
Ishita-aap mere maalik hai ,jab aap nahi khayenge toh how can I.but aap fikr mat kijiye,main aapke liye abhi boil food laati hoon aur apne liye bhi.chahe mujhe kitna bhi yeh sab khane ka mann kare but i will eat only which u will eat,aap mere maalik ho naa.toh mujhe bhi wohi yucky khana khaana padega but aap mere liye apni yucky khana khane ki aadat mat chodiyega.phir chahe main thoda kam khaaun yaa phir se faint hi kyun naa ho jaaun kyunki mujhe toh boiled food khaane ki aadat nahi naa.she was saying thinking he will say something but he didn't said a word.
Ishita-toh main jaaun boiled food lene.she asked meekly.while mihir and other helps were biting nails.
Raman look at her and said-ek aur plate serve karo.
Ishita serve food in one more plate.
Raman-now sit down and eat the food.
Ishita sit down and said-how can I eat before u ,pehle aap khaiye then only I will eat.main aapke bina kaise kha sakti hoon,aap mere maalik ho,
He don't let her complete and said-sun liya tumhara maalik puraan,now stop it and eat.see I am also eating.he said taking a little palak paneer in small bite of nan.
Ishita eyes sparkled in happiness hearing this ,she look at him waiting to have a bite while all were waiting for same.
Raman had a bite finally and closed his eyes feeling immense pleasure in having his favourite palak paneer aftet ages.ishita did a disco deewane step in her mind while the helps too hi-fied each other and mihir smiled seeing Raman changing even if it is a bit.
Raman took another bite and have it,ishita was just looking at him and admiring him.she can see a new spark in his eyes.the joy of having something which he likes while mihir was looking at ishita,the way she was admiring raman was confusing him.
Mihir-(st) definitely she had a motive behind entering this house but I am sure she is not here to harm Bhai.i can see it in her eyes.but can't overlook the fact that may be she is lying.let me research over her.he thought to himself and called someone.
Raman was having food while ishita was just looking at him without blinking her eyes.
Raman-tum bhi khao,arent u hungry now.he said looking at her.
Ishita look down and start eating slowly.raman had a nan and said-I am done.tum kha lo.saying so he was going when ishita said-thoda saa dessert.
Raman look at her when she told- please,aap nahi khaoge toh how can I,after all u r my maal,
Raman-yes I know,i am ur maalik.ok serve but thoda saa only.
Ishita nodded happily and served him the custard.raman had it and said-tum khana bahut achcha banati ho.
Ishita-aapko achcha lagaa ,toh main roz yahin banaun.waise bhi ab toh aapki ganda khana khane ki kasam tut gayi hai naa,she said blinking her eyes .
Raman-i know I can't win over u,ok u can make these food for me but thoda kam oily,actually I hadn't ate all this for long.so my system need time to adjust with it.
Ishita-ok,as u say.
Raman-aur kya maalik maalik karti rehti ho,dont call me maalik,call me sir aur Bhai like mihir call.
Ishita made a dirty face hearing this and thought,meri zubaan naa cut jaaye aapko Bhai kehne se pehle.
Raman-ok.
Ishita-ok sir.saying so she went glaring him.while Raman went to his room oblivious of her glare.
Ishita went to kitchen and did a yippee dance .all help enjoyed with her.
Later at night,ishita made light food for him that he have without any argument.
Ishita was too happy that she can make him a little happy.
At ten,she went to his room and saw him working in his laptop wearing his spects.
Ishita-(st)uff kitne cute lag rahe hai.how I wish to kiss him.kab honge aap mere raman.
She was thinking when Raman said-ishita tum.
Ishita smiled and said- sir I brought milk for u.pee lijiye u will have a sound sleep.
Raman-oh thanks ,mere cupboard mein ek medicine rakhi hai,usse mujhe de do.
Ishita-medicine.
Raman-haan ,headache ki hai.
Ishita-aapka sardard kar raha hai,main daba doon.
Raman-no ,u rest.just give it to me.usse kha kar I will feel good.
Ishita nodded and went to bring it.she take out the medicine and was shocked to see it.
Ishita-(st)anti depressants pills.raman anti depressant pill lete hai.no no I can't give it to him.
Raman-what happened ishita,why u r taking so long.
Ishita took out the pills and said-its empty sir.
Raman-empty,aise kaise.abhi toh naya mangaya tha.let it be,let me ask mihir to brinv new.
Ishita-let it be sir,main aapka sar daba deti hoon.u will feel relaxed.saying so she started messaging his forehead softly.raman closed his eyes feeling relaxed.
Ishita continued massaging him when he said-i am ok now,u go and rest.u must be tired.
Ishita-ok sir,but call me if u want anything.saying so she was going but turned to see him and asked-r u sure,main jaaun.
Raman nodded in yes.ishita went to her room.
Ishita was laying on her bed and trying to sleep but sleep was far from her eyes.she was thinking about Raman and the pain he was going through.
Ishita-no I can't let raman live in this pain,mujhe unhe unki takleef se baahar laana hoga.i don't know how he is now,he must be feeling restless without his medicine,will be searching for it but i am not going to let him take those medicines.they r dangerous.she was thinking when she heard some noise from kitchen.she checked the time and saw it was 1.30 am .
Ishita-itni raat ko kaun hai.let me see.thinking so she got up and went to see only to see raman in kitchen.he was trying to make coffee but things were slipping from his hands like he is not able to hold anything.
He felt irritated and tried to have some water but the glass too fell off his hand.
Ishita-I know this was coming.lets go and hold him ishu before loose balance.thinking so she ran to him to hold him before he fell.
Raman was holding his head tight and was about to loose balance when ishita hold him and said-r u ok sir .
Raman fell on her and said- ishi ishita,please bring my medicine,kahin se bhi le aao.i am feeling restless,bahut be bechaini ho rahi hai.please meri medicine le aao warna main mar jaaunga.he said with great difficulty.
Ishita-don't worry Raman,sab thik ho jayega.kuch nahi hoga aapko.main kuch nahi hone dungi aapko.saying so she hugged him tight while he was brushing his face on her shoulder to get some relief.
Ishita took him to his room and make him lay down.he was in semiconscious state ,trying hard to sleep but couldn't sleep.ishita sat beside him and put his head in her lap.she start pressing his head on the pressure points to make him feel relaxed.
His restlessness start decreasing and soon he was fast asleep in her lap hiding his face in her stomach.
Ishita smiled seeing him sleeping like a baby and caressed his hair lovingly.
Ishita put his head on the pillow and planted a feathery kiss on his forehead.
Ishita-aap bilkul bhi mat ghabraiye,ab main aa gayi hoon naa aapki sab tension le lungi.aapko kisi bhi anti depressant pill ki zarurat nahi kyunki main aapki anti depressant pill banungi.she said caressing his hair and was going when she felt his hold on her wrist.she tried to loosen his hold when he put her hand under his face and slept peacefully.
Ishita didn't tried further and settle on the chair.she was looking at him while he was sleeping ,soon sleep took over her too and she too slept on the chair only.
