Wow, what a catastrophic day in KRP-land.
It is the day everyone lost their tempers and let out all their ugliness. I was cringing watching Bijoy take his household fight to the streets. I was hitting my head with my hands, seeing Dev fail in his mission for forgiveness, and give in to pride.
He was humiliated in the streets and he now thinks he is the bigger man. He was wronged, yesterday was moot now. Dev was insulted. Bijoy became of no significance.
Bijoy had always been a proud honest man. He was handed the biggest insult of his life, from people who never respected him in this marriage.
It was a fight between Bijoy and Ishwari, cleverly orchestrated by RadhaRani. Beech mein Dev aur Sona kahaan se ayi? I'll tell you, it was very jhalak of RadhaRani. She jumped on Dev as soon as he arrived, and dressed up a tale where his mother was the victim and Bijoy the aggressor.
Dev is a stupid fool where his mother is concerned. He reacts without thinking, throws out without any thought. He saw Ma hurt because of him and he chucks Sona out yet again. Wait till he sees the prenup, it'll be Ishwari sending Ritwik rishta all over again.
Boses are proud of their honesty. In an argument about hurt feelings of the great Ishwari, they replied back with a proud dignified solution.
Fight about money?
Boses : Return the money. Simple. Direct. Common sense. 0-0 . Bridges burnt but no debt unpaid. Nothing else to be said to each other.
Dixits: how dare you accuse us of being petty over money, and make us look and feel bad??! We wanted to see Bijoy Bose hang his head in shame for the rest of the time we deign to tolerate his daughter in our home!! How DARE you show arrogance?
I am stunned that the petty, disgusting hyena-like creature called Radha Rani was able to wreak such havoc. She played a very scheming game, pitting all the volatile players against each other and gleefully watches from the spectators box.
You know hyenas come after the lions finish fighting and pick the spoils? Watch out guys, I'm not surprised if Radha Rani cashes that cheque Dev carelessly threw for her own use.
And proceeds to take over Dixit House. Shamelessly. Ever since Ishwari gave her that veiled threat to leave if she wasn't happy, she and Vicky have been plotting.
I'm waiting to see GKB strike. We saw her like a nuisance, but she after all is the villain here.
I wished Boses had sent Saurabh to Dev to return the money, after all it was between them. Dev might have taken it for the interest of patching up. But sending Sona was a little inflammatory. Bijoy can come and return it too, and Ishwari might have taken it too, with GKB's egging. Sona returning it to Dev privately could also be non confrontational, but least palatable.
Sona wanted to say her piece, and she did today, to both Ishwari and Dev. This is me, take me as I am, or I will leave. This scene was a mirror of that very scene Sona came prior to marriage, to tell Ishwari she is destroying her son by ruining his love.
She left with full dignity intact, I feel..She did the best she could in this unfair marriage. I am proud of her. Again, only Mamaji's feet she touched today, only person who welcomed her in that house.
