What is required is dev understanding his mother's deception and that she is not God . and yes I think if the translation was correct he said he owed everything to his mother because of her he is who he is...and yes that statement is partially correct... But dev has to understand that it is a parents duty to look after their child or children without expectations or obligations... The story has gone back to the separation and for me it makes no sense...especially the part of the Bose losing their home...and for the first time I have to disagree with sona...she should not have mortage her fathers home...and I hated how she refuse to listen to the advice of the realtor...
