RS always had dis story in her mind. Datshwy she chose a north Indian village..if she wanted to show IVF, Surrogacy, Social acceptance den she wud have chose Delhi n Mumbai n not Gurdaspur for setting her story...
In Punjab n Haryana even intercaste marriages is hardly allowed n here v r talking abt a marriage abt Man n eunuch...If society wud have come to knw den Honour killing track wud hv come...V may feel Indian is a modern country bt v often forget dat ppl living in suburbs n villages r still following d age-old rituals n traditions...N those ppl will have no problem wid such tracks..they understand preeto better n even sympathise wid her..Wen Harman used to misbehave wid his family for saumya den Uncle aunties in my family wud start ranting abt todays generation bad kids who dnt care for parents...😆😆.Bt younger generation felt dat he is fighting for his love. Its just d perspective which differs from person to person...Untouchability, caste system, witch hunting, dowry etc is banned decades back bt is still practiced in many parts of nation...Dis track v may feel is pathetic bt is realistic...I think RS pays her cvs for searching d most stupid stories online n den copies in her show...😆😆
its indian tv and no matter show is based on a village or city or even foreign still the regreesive attitude of ppl are show . it does exist no doubt but still i really hoped that they for once showed a progressive show . it does started as such a progressive show ( though i dint like somata'spther decision to never send her to school or educate her or make her strong which i do understand as per her POV was right for her )
i live in haryana and when i see only crime , honor killing or regressive thoughts being associated to it . i feel like laughing . all the social evil do exist in all the states of country it is not confide to a singlr state .
if u look at the intercast marriage chart haryana has around 50% of intercast marriages .even my grandfather's village which dont have so super educated and sofasticated ppl and still there are around 20 couples who belong to different caste and live in peace .
it even have a hindu & muslim married couple .
there are so many old couples who went for IVF and had baby ( both were illterate )
i dont believe high literacy or speaking english or wearing modern dresses only makes u modern and forward thinker its not .
its all about mindest and thoughts that need be modernised.
sorry if u felt offended by any of my words . i kind of go overboard sometimes .
