Actress Alia Bhatt's recent films like 'Kapoor & Sons', 'Udta Punjab' and 'Dear Zindagi' had been a tremendous success on the box office as well as the audiences. She has garnered a lot of applause from the critics for her performances. Alia completed her education from 'Jamnabai Narsee School', Mumbai and she was just 19 years old while making her acting debut with Karan Johar's film 'Student of the Year'.

However, not just Alia but her friends and classmates were also aware of the fact that she would pursue her career in acting.

A former classmate of the actress made some candid revelations about the actress from her school days. She wrote, "Jamnabai had a lot of groupism. People without groups were loners or picked on. I was in the middle but naturally, Alia had a group since I can remember. Alia obviously was always the popular girl who used to get all the attention as she was Mahesh Bhatt's daughter. She was always selected in plays etc which happened in school. She always had an entourage following her around the school. I remember she and her entourages were crash dieting in the 6th standard and after the physical education class in the summer they all fainted".

"We all knew she was always going to be an actor. Some of us were jealous as we knew she was sorted for the rest of her life cause of her father and she didn't have to go to the struggle the way the other person/actors such as Shahrukh khan etc went through to reach their goal & some of us didn't bother. Frankly speaking, she never spoke to anyone except for her friends. She was a 70-80% student.

We recently had a reunion it was the people were in their own groups no one socialized beyond the people they grew up e.g I saw Alia and I don't think she ever noticed me in school or reunion", she added further.

Well, that's quite interesting. But we wonder how Alia would react to this!

I've no doubt in my mind that AB was Kareena 2.0 in school too but why does this girl sound so bitter & jealous that Aloo baby didn't notice her. 😆 Why would she want a spoilt rich annoying brat to notice her anyway. All schools are like this, no point singling her out but props that she did admit they all were jealous of her.. Not that reading the article anyone could've thought otherwise. 😆

Lol MEB. Yes, she is kinda jealous but I think this kind of bitterness is expected.

Her comment pretty much sums up what I think of Alia. Her arrogance shows through in her interviews though. She has this 'touch me not' aura that Parineeti would do well to imitate. Alia is like a typical filmy brat and a very cunning one at that.

She is Kareena 2.0 but way smarter. Knows how to play the game. I won't even be surprised if blurting out 'Prithviraj Chouhan' on KWK 4 was a publicity stunt.

Oh yesss!! K3 is a bimbo, Alia is too but she's so street-smart & pretty cunning. Knows how to play these games. PcJr seems more guile-less in comparison but as time is going by, seems to be cunning-up, lol. Good for her. Can't let people walk all over you.

Our society is classist. It's not like today Alia or any other actor invite ordinary folks to their home. Cliques exist everywhere. Not condoning Alia or anyone but who cares...form your own group and move on. I wonder what the non-Bollywood children have to go through in Dhirubhai Ambani school. Bachchan baby and Aamir's son might get all the lead parts in Dramas.😆

There is a reason why big stars and privileged class send their kids abroad for studies.
The stint in boarding gives them reality check . Otherwise they always live in bubble and reality comes as a shock when they see failures in life
