Ishwari impressed me today. I never thought I will say that. As nauseating as her words were, they were true. Dev lied to his mother to be able to marry Sonakshi. And she was absolutely right in reminding him that he needs to check with his wife before making promises on her behalf.
(The bit about having to leave the house because of Sonakshi wasn't true and actually Bull$hit)
She actually did devakshi a huge favour today. She reminded them of the silver lining. They have a 7% chances of conception. I had been waiting for a Dev Dixit dialogue for months - Main 7% ko 100% main badalna jaanta hun... LOL. So, his little chat with His God's God didn't yield much. Ishwari in fact reminded him that they still have a chance. Whether Devakshi are ready to be parents is another topic. The point is they have a chance and this chance is what most fertility treatments start on. They are painful. More so when there is primary infertility (i.e. the lady has issues with conception or carrying to term). But the option exists.
Oh dear Lord. I love how Lord Shiva's idol keeps making an appearance. Today when Ishwari placed her demands, she was between Lord Shiva and Dev. She gave Dev a route to change his destiny. A route that he had been looking for for weeks now.
Now, the complication starts. Mr Dixit, like someone pointed out a few months ago, your listening comprehension is so bad. Ishwari asked you to convert the 7% into 100%. She is asking you to get Sonakshi pregnant. What did you tell her? That you will get her a pota... huh - dude, there is a vast difference in those two statements and tomorrow if your wife can't give birth to a baby boy, your mother can get you into surrogacy or have you impregnate another woman (I know, I know. I keep going back to the same topic).
Sonakshi echoed my thoughts just in time. Dev Dixit is a complicated man. He throws money at problems, hides the good, bad and the ugly but worse, doesn't wait to hear your response and assumes you said yes. Speak now, or forever hold your peace
Bijoy, you remind me of my dad. He is like you. We have had exactly the same discussions on so many topics and now I keep him out of my ILs scene because he cant control his emotions so easily when it comes to me. Your daughter will need you as a sounding board in times to come. You may be rude, but you love her as a person just like Dev. Keep your calm. So happy to see Saurabh dada back. I love that guy.
Erica and Shaheer were at the personal best again. Like I said, y'day was a prelude to this week.
