Swarna seemed like she was a woman who was image conscious and too proud about her status when she entered, but turned out to be so sweet and not at all pretentious or proud. Akhilesh seemed like a good and humble man who would be like karthik and not believe in superstitions and believe more in humanity, but he turned out to be a complete and utter sheep to GT and his brother as he blindly follows their superstitious practices, which was shown by when he was happy when GT came home and said that even karthik had no issue with naira's name change; akhilesh has no issue that his families backwards thinking is an inconvenience to others. Surekha turned out to be a sheep like akhilesh too, but also kind of full of herself, as well as poking her nose in to every business. Manish is still the way he was when he entered, but they showed he has a more softer side and he isn't two-faced like his mother, he isn't pretentious at all, and if he isn't happy about something he will say it, unlike that GT who just pretends to stay in karthik's good books.
