Finally.. The misunderstandings were sorted.. Everything was crystal clear.. Tia and Daksh were exposed infront of the whole family and the truth about how Shivaay blackmailed Anika for their forced marriage was also out.. Everyone felt shocked and equally guilty for their behaviour towards Anika.
Anika.. The enigma she is.. She is not the damsel in distress who will silently bear everything by sitting in a corner.. She did fall but rose again like a Phoenix from Ashes.. She stood rock solid infront of everyone not letting those bad comments affecting her.. She thanked God for providing her with the perseverance and patience to fight on and to live life independently,on her terms.
Only a few knew what she actually went through.
Now that,a year has passed by since their marriage,she looks on for the future she is trying to build for her little brother,Saahil.. In the meanwhile,she completed her studies which remained incomplete due to the struggles she had to face from her early life and completed her dream of becoming a Doctor..
Doctor.. A person who saves lives of uncountable people.. Anika finds solace when her patient cures from his or her illness. She finds joy in their happiness.. She considers her patients as her family.. The hospital where she works,titled her with "People's Doctor Friend."
Who said,doctors' cant be friends?? Anika proved them wrong and became the famous gynaecologist of Fortis Hospitals and Apollo Hospitals. All the credit for her success goes to her God and her family- Daadi,her two brothers'-in-law(Omkara and Rudra),their wives', Ishana and Saumya and her only best friend aka sister-in-law Priyanka.. They always supported her throughout her days when Shivaay married her forcefully and brought her to Oberoi Mansion.
Her relation with Shivaay is still the same but things have improved for sure.. Shivaay realised his mistake of how he misunderstood his wife,Anika and never left a chance to insult her during their initial days of marriage. He finally realised that he really loved Anika a lot and apologised to her..
Anika did forgive him but not fully.. She couldnt forget how he emotionally tortured her by bringing Saahil in between them..
During this one year,Anika also came to know about her real family background.. She belonged to the family of Rajputs,from Udaipur,Rajasthan. As she traced back her roots,she found out about how her real father left her on the roads because he didnt want a daughter to carry their legacy forward.. She met her real Daadi,Mrs.Swarna Singhania,a sweet and cheerful lady,who was really happy to meet her daughter,whom she thought to be dead.. Her Dadaji,Lieutenant Colonel Pratap Singhania was happy seeing his grand daughter alive..
Daadi,Omkara-Ishana,Rudra-Saumya,Jahnvi and Priyanka were really happy for Anika as she found her long lost family.. They also supported Anika emotionally,as they knew she will take time to adjust with her long lost family..
Shivaay felt guilty when he remembered himself calling her nameless,worthyless,road trash,etc.. Anika also has a family and that too,of the same stature like the Oberois.
Present:
As the whole family sat for scrumptious breakfast and relishing on the delicacies made by Anika-Ishana-Saumya,they talked about so many topics.. Healthy discussions were there always.. Like Anika,Ishana and Saumya also completed their studies and made a mark on their professions just like Shivaay-Omkara-Rudra made their mark on their respective fields.
A phone call broke their reverie..
"Dr.Anika Oberoi speaking.. Who is it?"
"Doctor.. Its me,Sister Rose.. Your patient on cabin 403 has started having labour pains.. Attending doctor examined her and said that the baby reversed in the womb and the umbilical cord is also wrapped around the baby's neck.. Please come quickly.."
"Do as i say.. Take her to the Labour room and prepare for her labour.. Record her vital stats of every single minute and keep her hydrated by mouth.. I will reach within 20 minutes.. Make me talk to her.." Anika spoke.
"Doctor..please save me.. Aaahhh.." the woman screamed in pain.
"Relax Mrs.Khan.. Take long and deep breaths.. Dont think about the pain.. Just think about your child who will come and will play in your arms within an hour.. Think about the name you wanted to call him or her.. Just think about them.. I am reaching there.. Dont worry.." Anika smiled and disconnected the call..
"Ram singh.. Gaari nikalo..." Anika barked and quickly dressed up in her white half sleeved shirt and blue jeans and her doctor coat and stethoscope. She took her phone and bag and ran down the stairs.
"Puttar.. Dheere se.. Chot lag jayegi tujhe.. Le.. Yeh dahi shakkar kha le.. Rab tujhe teri har kaam mein safalta pradaan karein.." Daadi blessed her and made her eat the Dahi Shakkar..
Omkara-Ishana,Rudra-Saumya and Priyanka wished her all the best for the surgery while she came towards Jahnvi and hugged her,taking her blessings. She came near Shivaay,who also wished her all the best. Anika smiled and buzzed off for the hospital..
