Hope everyone, who hasn't even seen Phase 1 actually understood what Atharva Sujata stood for.

He stood for equality, freedom, respect and to live life how two people want to live not how society tells them to live.

Oh I can't wait for this man to give a big slap to everyone when he recovers! Those who are against Vividha being with him, he will have an answer for them all.

One line in partlcular which got to me in the current context of the show was 'Maryada har yug ke saath badalti hai'.

Limits posed by society change with every generation so how can you or I say what's concrete? The origin of marriage was far from what it stands for now. It used to be for children, polygamy very much existed and it's only in the past century or so that monogamy has become the norm in society.

Rules change as generations go by and this is why Atharva Sujata is saying to each individual...live life according to your wishes without limitations set by others. What Maryada are we talking about when it changes with time?

Well said Reemz 👏

With every night there is a new day, new time, new moments. We have progressed a lot in the form of science, lifestyle, education; then why when it comes to cultures and rules we are stuck in our past?! I am not telling that our culture is not important, it is, but it should be modified according to the coming time. This customs are not made by god, it is made by humans only. you cannot modify your lifestyle, your free will because society wantss you too.

Today institution of marriage has changed for today's generation. They don't want to get married just to produce kids and keep their family name alive. They want to get married just because they love each other and want to share their lives together.

I want to ask people how many of your moms, sister, daughter are wearing mangalsutra today and applying sindhoor every single day?!

This is why we love Atharv Sujata so much. He lives by his rules, not society's rules. He encourages people to think their own thoughts, not how they think they should live because that's what's expected of them.

No matter whose fan you are, surely you can appreciate his words and the thoughts that he lived by.

I'm genuinely so overwhelmed by today's episode guys!

One for Vitharv's love, the sheer depth of it is beyond human understanding! Secondly, the reminder of Atharv's ideals which would make anyone proud.

Amazing! This is a NAYI SOCH.

And just how right is Atharv? There was Polygamy, Polyandry ( Though rarely), Sati, Child Marriage etc They are no longer a part of our culture, it's been declared illegal why because there people like Raja Ram Mohan Roy who worked towards this!
If they were not banned would we still say that a woman is disgusting because she is not ready to jump into her husband's funeral pyre?
Because a woman who is folowing her heart rather than a forced marriage is disgusting in this forum right?

Its so sad that people always try to mourn for something they feel is questioning their long-term belief! No matter how wrong that belief had been!
Here people are questioning and bad mouthing vividha for disrespecting her marriage which anyway was not her choice but they failed to understand the reason behind it!
They fail to understand the goodness n purity of Vitharv's relation!
They conveniently neglects the 1 thing this show is challenging via Atharv's ideology! Societal norms over human emotions!

Today's episode beautifully reminds us the purity n base of their relation= a relation of equality n freedom!

No matter how much we progress as a society, somethings are so badly imprinted on people's mind that they refuse to accept the changes even if its for good! N thats really unfortunate!

Maryada har yug ke sath badlti h magar kuch logo ki soch kabhi nahi badal sakti!

Wonderful post Reemz 👏
Atharav Sujata, a man of principles. Not principles made by the society that changes with every generation. Principles that his heart knew was right.
Proud to be his fan and today when Vivi told Ravish about him, you could clearly see that she was proud to be Atharav Sujata's girl.

Atharvs ideals and vision were always ahead of his time. I remember distinctly that he kisses Vv's feet before telling her that they are equal in every way. That scene had such an impact on me. This was not his love for Vv rather it was his belief that they were equal in every term and will remain so. And then Vv talks about 'maryada' and rules of the society to which Atharv made her see through his thought process of placing ur loved ones before samaaj and not to be fearful of laying new rules. You either follow the rules n suffer or make new rules and liberate others. So inspirational.

Atharv knew to live life on his terms...and that's what I love the most about him. He knew to push the boundaries, break the barriers set by the society and live...very few can do that.

His thoughts inspire you so much, he earns the respect he gets.
