The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in a moment of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy

This was the Shivvay. Rather is the Shivvay. Standing up for his family. Standing for the family.. The saviour in dire circumstances and normal circumstances as well. The man thought off putting his ideologies for the spur of the moment marriage to Anika when his oh so social bride to be Tia became the runaway bride...All for protecting his family name.

The man who could everything and anything within his powers to protect his family and family name

And he had a support system. His Brothers who called him the Great Wall of Shivvay...He was like a wall between adversities and the family

But was he forthcoming in giving them an inclination that the great wall also had cracks??? He too needed protection?? He kept his troubles to himself and did what he felt was fitting at the moment..

Anika to Shivvay: I guess what scares me the most now is the thought that I won't be able to protect you

Suddenly now he has a Wall for himself. The Wall of Anika who has risen from nowhere to become his saviour His protector. She does not have to but she does it anyways.This is the lady who is standing between Shivvay and his adversities like a thick iron wall. And has no qualms doing it.Just as Shivvay had no qualms doing the same for his family.

This lady is not coming and creating a divide between the family equations of Shivvay as for him it is the family which comes primarily for him. She is just standing in-between him and his adversities, creating an atmosphere of calmness when the overall scenario is not so calm. Making him laugh and have his moments.

The vulnerably this lady brings into the relationship despite standing strong was visible in the last episode when she almost broke down thinking that she may lose him for ever, having some dark shadows of her past still haunting her. And the shout of comfort from Shivvay asserting that he will never leave her and will never allow her to leave him. So poignant...yet her "Sacch " made him realize that though he is promising her a lifetime of togetherness, the way these two are currently bound to each other was very fickle in public . Though their minds may get connected towards togetherness, will the adversities surrounding their relationship allow them that liberty of being together???
