It was no accident but by design that the name Ms. Sonakshi Bose was taken without the burden of Dixit surname added to the tail end of it, in this episode ...not once but twice. And I am sure it was not just another dialogue but a meaningful one that will foreshadow the events that are to come when Sona says she wants to remain Mrs. Dixit forever and not be Ms. Bose. An irony waiting to happen? I think so. But I maybe wrong.
Before we discuss any further on this, lets give Sonakshi Bose Dixit a standing ovation today, for calling out Dev for what he is in no uncertain terms ...a temporary problem fixer, who doesn't see beyond the current moment.
And what a lash out it was. My heart hurt for her and it still remains heavy even now. That girl is hurting and she finally understands that she is nothing but a medium for a future Dixit baby to Ishwari. She is hurting that Dev doesn't care that they cannot make babies together...what else is she supposed to think but that Dev doesn't care? He hasn't sat down with her and had a heart to heart on how they wanted a different life but the life they are served is different and that its okay as they have one another...yes, he did say those words one night but the very next day he went back on all of it to satisfy his mother's needs.
Finally...finally...this episode gives us what we have been asking. How a woman feels when she is told that she is infertile? This epoiosde shows Sona's fears that she will forever be on her back foot, where she will constantly be reminded that she is the flawed one.
It was one hell of a painful episode and the most satisfying one in the last month, in my opinion.
I hope Dev has some genuine words of comfort and support for Sona on Monday.
To me...this episode goes to Sonakshi Bose (brilliant acting by Erica). What a tigress! I want her to stay this way. Keeping my fingers crossed😃
