What will Atharv Do?

In the past there was a question raised to Atharv about how he will choose between his mother and the love of his life. He never answered that question. He was always sure that Sujatha and Vividha will never put him in a situation where he would have to choose between them. But now i have no doubt that this is what will happen when Sujatha finds her son back. She will want to fulfill RK's last wish and she will ask Atharv to forget Vividha so that Suman can agree to stay under one roof. Sujatha has made such stupid decisions for herself before and she will most likely try to repeat history. In that scenario, what will be Atharv's decision?

I miss the only decisive and sane character in this show. So i am attempting to imagine what it would be like to have him back.

As a character he was shown to be very practical and reasonable.. So considering that he should be able to persuade Sujata too... Its difficult to counter argue his logics ...

I wonder if things settling down to normal wud have taken so much of time had he been in his senses...

I remember when that episode aired and Atharv didn't answer the question. I thought at that time that this issue is going to be raised again one day.

And seeing Sujata's silly behaviour recently, I can see that this situation is going to arise once Atharv is better.

But Atharv will never leave Vividha. He will make sure he will convince his mum. Do you remember when Kailaash forced Sujata to leave town with Atharv but he stubbornly sat in the middle of the road refusing to move, because he was convinced Vividha would come to him. Sujata pleaded and begged him to leave with her but he didn't. He convinced his mum that Vividha would come to him and she did.

Like you said JC, Atharv is probably the sanest and most decisive character on the show. When he finds out what vividha has been through and how much she stood by him even in his mental state, there is no way he will leave her. He will convince Sujata. He can't live without Vividha and Vividha can't live without him. Sujata knows that.

That's the only reason I can come up for her recent behaviour coz obviously her son is everything for her.

When atharv becomes normal Sujata herself will unite vitharv. The situation won't arise I guess.

If at all then atharv knows too well how to convince his mom. And he ll never give up vividha
