Sona looks broken

I agree with many on this forum that Sona needs to stand up for herself, defend herself, speak up and clarify issues instead of standing silently and allowing the disgusting Dixits to make wrong assumptions about her and taking the blame for things she didn't do. But today looking at her, all I could think of was how broken she looks. She literally looks broken. The depraved Dixits have broken her spirit. She is a pale shadow of her former self. Her spunk, her grit, her belief in herself and her confidence, why, even her beautiful smile -- all gone. Relentless onslaught of insults will do this to a person. And

it is relentless. Even when she has gone to see her parents , Mami doesn't lose the opportunity to say something bad about her.

It is terrible to see her like this. One can sense her desperation. She is ready to do anything to please her monster MIL. While I don't agree with her actions (no one can decide what you choose to do with your body, whether you have a baby or whether u go in for infertility treatment and no woman should ever allow anyone to make such decisions for her), it is evident that her actions are a result of deep insecurity and desperation. But if I were here, I would question what I am doing in a family that can make you feel so desperate and insecure in the first place.

@ BOLD...I totally agree...that is the present matured educated thought...and the old Sona would have done the same.

Poor girl. We can see ourself in her , the happy bride trying her level best to satisfy her Mil. All of us does that after marriage , friction rifts between MIL and DIL is all but natural. It's Dil call to be accommodating. Sooner or later everyone tires out and their peak is reached. It's high time Sona should have reached her peak of accommodating and understanding for this relationship. Hope she reaches their sooner before she completely shatters herself. It's really sad seeing her hurting herself and for what makes me question.
