Ishwari has always chanted about how it is to be a mother to Dev and her daughters but now it is all double standards! She of all people should be able to understand Sona's pain. Instead of hounding her and blaming her she should be supporting her.

Sona before marriage was an extremely strong and independent girl and marriage has completely changed her. Yes she should be more upfront and stand up for her own beliefs but the poor girl is getting grief from all sides including her mamma's boy husband Dev! It would knock any girl's confidence down. Sona needs emotional support and Dev isn't giving her that. He is only looking at his mother's needs and not Sona's.

When a man romances his wife in private yet let's his friends ridicule and belittle his wife, he is considered to be a bad husband. But if he let's his family member do the same, he is a good son. This double standard needs to change and it will start when mentality of a society change.

If there is never an understanding mother-in-law (husband's mother) when the wife can't conceive, whose fault is that? Who is responsible to make sure his mother never insults his wife and his wife never insults his mother?

Why that's not the same when it's the husband can't make the wife pregnant? Why the husband's mother-in-law (wife's mother) doesn't pressurise her daughter to dump her husband and marry someone else?

Doesn't a woman's mother wants to be a grandmother as much as a man's mother? There are a lot of women with only one girl child, yet they don't pressurise their daughter to get divorced. Instead if they choose to adopt or have baby by some other means, they learn to love the baby.

Because women tie their honour with their husband which most of those jerk of a husband who let their family insult and belittle their wife, don't.

That's the difference.

Why can't Radha belittle Elena even when she answered back? Because to belittle her, is losing her son. Vicky is not an ideal son. He is lazy and just wants to enjoy Dev's wealth. But even Dev can't insult his wife nor Ishwari dares to do even though they both live under their roof.

He may be a shitty person, but he is a better husband than Dev because he does not say one thing in bedroom and another in public. His stance is same everywhere. Whether he will marry Elena knowing she is infertile, I don't know. But at least he will let her go and not let his mother force her to go through fertility treatment as a condition to let her stay married to her son.

Letting someone go so that they can live a happy life with their family or may be with a person who will be understanding is much kinder than tying someone to oneself and let their family member strip her dignity and pride piece by piece.

That's the difference.

Thank you for reading my post. I no longer connect with any character in the show except Bijoy. So I have stopped watching the show. But it's nice to see that my posts were appreciated.

Cvs are preparing ground for separation ..they have to show many things...right now separation wont be digested by the viewers..logically they are moving towards it

Yes Dear I m so looking forwards to divorse" . Dev married Sona , I thought for love ,I was all tears when Dev married her despite knowing her infertility issue. But that Dev now has become someone to o dispice, and looks all pumped up to give grandchild to Ishwari. What will b his outlook if Sona still cannot conceive then he'll wholeheartedly sacrifice his love 😆n go the divorse route. This dev marriage now just looks like marriage of convenience to satisfy his physical yearning . Otherwise when he knew how his mom gonna react after the news break and he bloody well knew he will still take his route to Ishwari , then y did he marry her.

Hope with this Dev slapping FIL news floating around Sona really understands and opts for divorse.

Sona and Bijoy just don't deserve this. 😃
