More than the money, its the kind of unanimous appreciation its been getting from all quarters of the world! NO other star cast or movie or the director got such a universal applause...This is unheard of! 👏

What do you mean taxfree help?

Do you really believe it needs any help from outside to beat all the records other than the movie itself?

Taxfree is done by the states to show their support to the story...

Nup, that happened very rare, in exceptional cases. Usually film is applied to State ministry to get that Tax Free status, Dangal must have been done so.

Now from 5 states, direct gross is becoming nett, while for other films, Nett comes after tax deduction.

Haryana i can understand, being made on wrestler's life from their state, baaki states no idea.

When Geeta Phogat won gold medal in CWG2010 then I don't think only people in Haryana were proud of her achievement,the whole of India is proud of that...

Bhai how many BIOPICS were given TAXFREE in this much number of states?

If Bajirao Mastani would have given TaxFree in Maharashtra, it would have made 230-250 for sure.

Also, if this is logic behind giving TaxFree to make us feel proud, then it will sound PITY. Yes, we all are proud, for her, for all those sportsperson, but do u really think Dangal getting TAXFREE is anything to do with Geeta or any other sportsperson, Profits are only going to Aamir, that too more than what he could have got without this help.
